Congratulations to @ralphlauren on receiving the nations highest civilian honour, the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Biden. This is so wonderful he received this well deserved acknowledgment-the first ever award given to a Fashion Designer. I am so proud to have been part of his team as Art Director, a position due to a recommendation by Bruce Weber and Nan Bush. Working with @bruce_weber who is the most significant contributor to RL’s visual and iconic imagery, developing RL advertising campaigns, and working directly with Ralph, Buffy, Sandy, & Jo, has been a cornerstone in my journey. by @nan_bush

Dream Catcher—or just “Dream” as we called him—moved on to a new place yesterday. We all miss him already—Hud, Tao, River, Bonito, Giaco, Paris, Soul, Clementine, King, Suze, Cece, Heather, Robin, Jeanine, Nan and Bruce. by @nan_bush

Bruce took this photograph of Joel Schumacher when we went to visit him in Ojai. Joel and I first met when I was l6 years old. We became great friends and were inseparable. There were so many, many good times over the years.

I am so sad to know he is not with us anymore—but I am glad to have so many crazy, wonderful and hilarious memories of our years together. As Joel always said—quoting Howard Rosenman’s mother—“you can want, doesn’t mean you get.” by @nan_bush
