I embellished this TJ’s bag for my granddaughter who will be here next week with her mom. She is just learning to knit and I thought this would make a nice project bag for her. I’m excited to gift it to her. by @nanaofcka

This beautiful array of fabric arrived at my door today. I was super fortunate to win a giveaway from @ayeletwaldman. The fabric is from @freespiritfabrics, and there is enough fabric to make a very large and beautiful quilt. I hope I can do it justice. Ayelet is the author of the recently published “A Perfect Hand”. She is making a series of quilts in celebration of her new book inspired by the Victorian period. Happy Birthday to our two beautiful daughters. They were born three years apart on 10/1, so it’s a very special day for us. We are proud of the women they have become and wish them both another great trip around the sun. Love you to the moon and back. 💕🎉⭐️ by @nanaofcka

My daughter and granddaughter were visiting from Arizona and my daughter spotted this shawl I had knitted a couple of years ago. My granddaughter tried it on and decided it would be perfect for air travel when the plane may be too cold, or watching movies at home. It is the #stripedtrianglegarterwrap from #purlsoho. It was kit, but I don’t have the info about the yarn colors. Hope she enjoys it and thinks of it as a hug from Nana when she wears it. by @nanaofcka

Our granddaughter is participating in a horse show near where we live so they are staying with us this weekend. She is bathing Whiskey in preparation. It’s very hot so I’m sure he is enjoying the cool water. by @nanaofcka

I have been remiss in posting this lovely skein I won in a giveaway from @dyedbyhellcandy a while back. I have the perfect pattern to knit up a new pair of socks. This was shipped from the UK to the middle of the US so I am even more grateful to have received it. Thank you!!! 😍 by @nanaofcka

This is my start of the Smitten Socks which was a free pattern that Paula Hampton @quiltsbypaulajean modified by adding cable stitches. I have had this yarn for a while with no plan. I don’t even remember where it came from or what it is. It may have been something I won in a giveaway. Thus far I am very happy with how they are turning out. by @nanaofcka

This is Livia who works at my audiologist’s office. She is from Romania and is the sweetest person. I gifted the scarf to her a couple months ago and she was so happy to receive it. It is from a pattern that I purchased from Onling and is called the Elin Bandana Scarf. I pretty much followed the directions but did make it a little longer than the pattern. by @nanaofcka

I love this pattern by @earthtonesgirl. It was only my second shadow wrap heal, so her directions and videos were very helpful. The self striping yarn is such a pretty color, I will enjoy wearing them. 😍 by @nanaofcka

When my granddaughter was here at Christmas she asked me to make a very specific pillow for her. It is based on a Christmas pillow I had made several years ago. She wanted her pillow made in pink and a little purple and she picked out the fabric. She also asked for the embroidered message. I finally finished it and she received it yesterday. I think she loves it, and I followed her directions. Makes my heart feel good to brighten her day. by @nanaofcka
