I almost didn’t travel with my daughter… because I was scared.And then I realized this is her childhood.And guess what? My worst fear happened.A full meltdown on the plane.Small space, tired toddler, and all those side-eyes.But we survived. We made it.And we made beautiful memories.As a single parent, your village matters more than anything and I’m so grateful for mine.Aunty Izzy was with us on her first trip out of the country ❤️Traveling with a toddler isn’t exactly relaxing it’s parenting, just in a different country.But watching her discover new things? Een sportmassage stond al een tijdje op mijn lijstje, en onlangs ging ik langs bij @slowmotions.massages in @thewave_physio Antwerpen. ✨Kleine bekentenis: ik was er eigenlijk van overtuigd dat een sportmassage gewoon pijn zou doen. 😅Wat ik niet verwacht had, is dat het ook verrassend ontspannend kon zijn.En dat is net wat ik zo fijn vond aan de aanpak van Valérie.Ze combineert sportmassage en deep tissue technieken met ontspanningstechnieken, waardoor je spieren worden losgemaakt terwijl je lichaam tegelijk ook echt tot rust komt.Bij Slow Motions wordt er niet volgens een standaard protocol gewerkt.Elke behandeling wordt afgestemd op wat jouw lichaam op dat moment nodig heeft.Waar nodig worden technieken zoals cupping, hot stones en repercussietherapie toegevoegd.En nog iets wat me verraste: sportmassages zijn niet alleen voor mensen die veel sporten of in de fitness staan.Ook als je veel achter een bureau zit, spanning vasthoudt in je nek, schouders of rug, of gewoon beter voor je lichaam wil zorgen, kan het echt een verschil maken. ✨Na afloop snapte ik plots waarom zoveel mensen dit regelmatig inplannen. 👀🤍📍 Slow Motions @ The Wave Antwerpen #sportmassage #massageantwerp #musttry by @nanayamsi
