Dear Tasio,

Thank you for letting me be a part of your life.

Thank you for sharing your life story with me through music.

Thank you for your trust in me (night nurse).

Thank you for allowing me to care for you during your final days.

You passed away peacefully last Saturday. Thank you for that beautiful, special, and loving ‘Chaka Khan’ ending.

Rest in peace, dear, big kiss for Jules … ❤️

BK❤️MJ thru my eyes. B’day week!
This was our third BK❤️MJ Block Party, and once again, it was all about community, joy, celebrating, love and of course, Michael Jackson! Immensely grateful that @nanceadjete and I could be there.

5 years ago! My sister.

Yesterday I was allowed to capture a morning in the life of Nance, my sissah. She is an interim manager at Hero childcare centers, so she works in healthcare.
For the past week and a half, her life (and that of her direct colleagues, employees, children and parents) has been all about adapting to a new normal. Something they do with incredible strength and perseverance.

Of the 85 centers in Haarlem and the surrounding area that Hero normally keeps running, 3 emergency locations are now open. This day, 1 of these locations provided care for 5 toddlers, 3 babies and 4 after-school care children. Children of parents with vital professions, but also when there is no other option, and care is needed outside this target group, Hero does not refuse children...
Those vital professions, yes, a profession that my sister also has. She cares; cares for her employees, answers all questions endlessly, reassures them, guides the work process in the right direction and supports them where she can. She has the same care for the parents. My sister has always been incredibly hands-on, and that is no different now. She is fully committed to being there with her vital profession for all those other mothers and fathers with vital professions.

Tribute to my sister, all her colleagues, employees and parents.
Pride and love. ================================= pictures @sillvee video @djtonyfitz Music @hypnoticbrass by @nanceadjete
