A hike at Fort Funston. by @nancy.hong11

Happy 10th birthday to my dog baby. Toby’s so easy, well behaved, smart, food motivated, loving, and cuddly that I’m lucky to have him. by @nancy.hong11

These are close crops of Edna because seeing her large on my monitor is so much better. Edna is adoptable @svpetproject She was really friendly when I saw her and within minutes of us meeting, she was rubbing up against me. She’s also very playful.

A hike and ice cream make for a wonderful day. Ice cream top with burnt marshmallows.

We spent time at one of the few dog-friendly gardens close to us.

Photos from our trip to Vietnam in December 2025 to January 2026. We spent about an equal amount of time in Ho Chi Minh City, Ninh Binh, Cat Ba Island, and Hanoi but the bulk of my photos are taken in Ninh Binh. It was a wonderful trip with great food, specialty coffee, and a balance of city, nature, and history.

These are captures of the busyness of Old Quarter Hanoi. Buildings are close together and people, cars, and motorbikes fill the streets. We do the shuffles as we cross the streets because there are rarely traffic lights. Vehicles zip around us as we cross. by @nancy.hong11

Wishing you and yours a merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year’s.

I had thought Toby learned to smile on command because he was smiling every time I asked him, but it was a fluke. It hasn’t worked since. by @nancy.hong11
