Kinda hard to believe I’m typing up this caption right now… but uh… ya’ll! I signed my first recording contract!!! 📀🪕🍾🥳 Everyone please give a big warm welcome and thank you to @offtherowstudio_tn !! I am absolutely overflowing with gratitude as their experience, expertise, encouragement and validation continues to shape my growth as an artist and help me find my authentic voice.

Kinda wild… one minute you’re posting little snippets of songs you’re working on, and the next you’re recording them in Nashville with an experienced team that believes in you and your writing- and all in the same month?!

After my first few conversations with Erin (President & Head of A&R over at Off The Row), she offered to help bring some of my original works to life. We’ll be working on a small project together at @offtherowstutio_tn over the next couple months and I can’t WAIIIIT for y’all to hear the songs we picked 👀 Erin helped me narrow down my selections and craft a consistent body of work for our little project and I’m super grateful for her guidance!

We’ve already done some recording (as you can see hehe) and I honestly was just trying to hold it together in that little booth 😂 (seriously). To go from only really having your voice and a guitar, to singing along with a full band and hearing your own songs be built in real time by musicians that have dedicated their life to their craft… well… let’s just say I was overwhelmed in the best way.

Thank you; Houston, Mark, Michael, Mike & Sean for your dedication and execution on tracking day. Ya’ll’s experience is not lost on me, and I’m just really grateful for your time and talents in helping me bring these songs to life. I can’t wait to go back and work with Houston & Erin more soon! 👀

So much more to come, but for now, let’s gooooo Nancy Ann x Off The Rowwww!! 🍾📝🎉🥳✍🏼🎈🎊💿🍾 by @nancyannmusic

I recently had the pleasure of helping lead @bootscootinboogienights ‘s latest “Let’s Go Girls” event at Knoxville’s own @themillandmine 🥹🥲 I can’t express how fulfilling it is to lead a show of this caliber on such a big stage, and the weeks of preparation and months of touring all seemed to pay off in one, very special, night.

Not only was this show my first performance of 31, but it also fell just a few days after my birthday. What a gift it was to spend it with yall, Knoxville, singing my favorite 90’s country songs alongside my two 90’s queens @haleymlabelle and @sarrennamusic

I’m so thankful to the @bootscootinboogienights crew for believing in me and giving me a place to perform my heart out. I’ve always enjoyed putting on a show, and I am so proud to do it with this group of incredible people. @hardcor_smith @pinktrash_h @mam_sorris @tomtomtn These guys are true talents to witness, and I feel honored to even be involved.

Thank you for having us, @themillandmine . I can’t wait to do it again one day 💃🏼🤠

Thank you to @_jacobph_ for the incredible footage of this night. I will cherish it forever!! 🎥📸 by @nancyannmusic

@nancyannmusic is a Knoxville singer-songwriter who finished four songs in Nashville. Imagination, her debut EP, is out now. She treats the private invention of a rival and the decision to stop measuring as the same continuous weather, from a rare January snow to the open road where the shoulder is enough.
