We’ve brought in special guests to kick off a weekend of long-form improv - Friday August 21st.

Rollin’ in Riches (Los Angeles, CA)
Goofballs and comedy nerds Rolland Lopez & Rich Baker bring their Award winning comedy duo Rollin’ in Riches to Portland for the first time ever! R ‘n R have brought their unique brand of unscripted fast-paced frivolity to festivals all over the country. (Curious to learn from these two pros? They’ll be hosting workshops at CoHo to elevate and inspire your improv! Link in bio.)

Solitaire: The Musical (Portland, OR)
In this fully improvised One Man One Act Musical comedy Nick Condon deftly switches from character to character, creating an all-new musical on the spot often singing duets with himself. He has performed Solitaire throughout the US, and across the world.

🎉 Happy Birthday to the love of my life and fellow Nancy Boy - Justin.

Justin and I met on the Big Island in Kona while working at a Natural foods store. There are not many people in life whom I remember the first time I met them, but I remember the first time I saw Justin. Since meeting and falling in love in Kona we’ve traveled all over the world together.

Justin loves yoga, dancing, singing, performing, and cooking vegan food. They are a huge part of the Portland dance community and are a fixture at Twirl.
If you’re fortunate enough to share a stage, or even a dance with them you know Justin exudes pure joy and light to everyone around them. If you’re fortunate enough to call them friend, you know they are the kindest, most genuine, caring, and supportive friend anyone could ever ask for. Never have I met someone who is so strongly their authentic self. I could not be more proud of Justin or more grateful to share my life with them.

💐🌸💖🌸💐

🎉 Happy Birthday to Nancy Boy Nick (aka Little Nicky as his family called him when he was as kid.) The world is a better place with a man like him in it. Nick leads with love, silliness, and a fiery passion for everything he does.

Nick grew up in Minneapolis MN, and has traveled all over the world (including all 50 states.) One thing he loves to bring with him on his travels is his passion for improv. He’s notorious for hopping into improv sets to play with new improvisors at any theater that will let him.

Teaching improv and theatre is his passion and it shows when you’re in one of his classes. As a kid Nick wanted to be a karate teacher when he grew up; so he never had to wear shoes when he worked. While he didn’t make it down that exact path, he (mostly) achieved that goal - as anyone who has been in his classes can attest to. We love his excitement for growth, expansion, and connection.

When you’re around Nick it’s easy to feel warm, supported, and at home. This Aries (with his big 3 in each fire sign ❤️‍🔥) is an inspiration. Cheers to another year of blazing your own trail, and leading with your passion. @nick.condon by @nancyboysimprov

Wet hot Americana summer!

Take a break from the heat and step into an air-conditioned trip back in time to place called Gayport.

Brother detectives Frank and Joe Nancy are always eager to take on a case - no matter the size. What mystery could arise in the idyllic town of Gayport? Whether it’s investigating with good friends or being thrust into unfamiliar circumstances. These amateur sleuths have the brains, brawn, and gusto to take on even the most hardened criminals. Husband team Nick and Justin Condon have been touring and performing together since they met over 10 years ago. Their chemistry, connection, and shared love for campy narrative gave birth to the Nancy Boys.

As plucky brothers Frank and Joe Nancy they’ve solved a slew of mysteries and shared hundreds of characters. Each mystery is completely improvised, and every clue is discovered along with the audience as it builds to a climax when The Nancy Boys inevitably get down to the bottom of it!

Can y’all believe it’s the 6th Annual Spice Girls Ride?

Colors of the world - spice up your bike! Slam it to the left if you’re having a good time, and shake it to the beat of the Spice Girls with a fabulous group of fans. Zig-a-zig aaaaall over Portland to your favorite 90’s bops.

Dress it up or dress down to boogie, because if u can’t dance to this you can do nothing for me baby.

PLEASE BRING WATER / BEVERAGES! It’s gonna be a warm one, so come prepared with hydration. Bring a bandana to soak with water for your neck. There will not be any store stops; so be sure to bring all the water, sunscreen, and snacks you’ll want.

ROUTE MAP on RIDE WITH GPS (Link in Bio!):
- Route has been reduced due to the heat, & there’s also an option to meet halfway-ish at our park stop - Woodlawn
- Starting at the Peninsula Park Rose Garden (SW Corner of the Park)
- Cruising down Mississippi and back up Williams to show off our fits and tunes - Taking Ainsworth for a bit and then 15th to Woodlawn
- PARK STOP: Woodlawn Park under the bridge (Splash Pad and Bathrooms available!)
- Costume Contest
- Taking Ainsworth West to 32nd, looping back down Alberta
- Ending at Vegan Ice Cream - Ramblin’ Rose!
(Bye & Bye will be open for food)
- Screening the Spice World movie!

Ride is not a loop but it will end not too far from the start.

** This is not a sober ride, but we ask folks to imbibe responsibly for the safety of everyone. **
We aim to create a supportive and safer space for 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC folks. Sketchy folks, phobic remarks, or unsupportive behavior of any sort will not be tolerated. Please refrain from taking pictures, filming, or touching others without their consent. Remember - consent is verbal.

DJ bikes and BIG speakers encouraged! Playlist linked in Bio via Spotify. Download the playlist to your device for so we can jam together without using your data.

Corking is Community Care: We encourage folks who like to cork to join this ride and help make it a success. We also strongly encourage people who are cork-curious to join in and try it out. We keep us safe. taken in Peninsula Park by @nancyboysimprov

Calling all cyclists, robotboys, fembots, and dancehall queens! Call your girlfriend and tell her it’s time that we dance to the beat.

This ride is all Robyn.

Who’s that girl? She’s an internationally beloved Swedish pop-star - killin’ it since ‘94. She’s the founder and CEO of Konichiwa Records. Listed in section 202 of the United Nations Security Act of 1979 as being too hot to wear tight sweaters in international airspace.

Route Map ((LINK IN BIO)):
Expect an ~1.5 hr joy ride of 8miles, with a dance stop at the ~4 mile mark to dance, hydrate, and cool down (bring your own bevvies - there is no store stop).
* Ride is a loop. =]
* We will be taking a major street for a short bit.
* Due to the forecast heat the route will be on more greenways with less major street action to help keep things safe and cooler.

Do you know what it takes to make this a great ride? - We will need corkers (and those who are cork curious)
- Loud speakers (for music)
- And of course you!

Got a speaker?
We’ll do a simple sync of the music by pressing play at the same time, but we do ask that speakers space themselves out along the ride. Be sure to download the Spotify playlist linked below to save your battery. Add your fave Robyn song if it’s not there already.

Dress your Robyn fantasy, just don’t include me out.

Be sure to bring water (you’re not indestructible) and snacks/beverages - there will NOT be a store stop. It’s gonna be a hot one! Extra water and a bandana that you can get wet to cool down your neck.

BANNED RIDERS: If you are banned from any rides, you are also banned from this ride. This ride will be a safer space for queer and bipoc folks with a zero tolerance policy for non-consent, discrimination, or phobic behavior.
