If I were to choose a symbol to memorialize Skylar Keith, I would choose an elephant. Elephants are strong, nurturing, loyal to their families and are determined and protective. They have a sense of compassion that projects beyond their own kind and extends to other species in distress. They are social, affectionate and form life-long friendships. Sounds a lot like Skylar, doesn’t it?

Skylar impacted so many lives, and he had so much love to give. I love how he loved his family, his stories about how he had to treat his sister like a little brother to make her tough enough and how incredibly close they all were. He wanted so much for his family.

The world was better with you in it Skylar, but your love lives on. by @nancydang5
