Happy October 1st!! 👻🎃🕷️ Where in the world did September go?? Out of all the months, thats the one that went by the quickest. I will be begging the universe for it not to be the case for October lol for today’s look I wanted to play with Glaminatrix Nocturnal again. The teal shade was stuck in my head and so was a halo eye 🫢 I said I would be practicing them but here I am with the second one this yr. So much for practicing 😆 may not be my best work but they are a work in progress. I wish I had dabbed on a little bit more of the black and a little bit more the purple shimmer ‘Dusk’ but I was way too careful the whole way. Didnt want to ruin it. Live and learn. I threw on a glitter liner over my crease and a teal liner on the waterline and called it a day. I wasnt sure what lip products to use so I went through my stuff and pulled out a lip liner from BBB and The Ghost Face lip kit. Wont be the last youll see of that lip kit! Pretty darn good 🖤 and that was it. Thats all for today friends! Since we have entered the BEST time of the yr, I couldnt wait to dig into my Autumn palettes. I wanted to do a look on the 22nd but the eearly morning errands didnt let any room so I was makeup free that day. So here we are and one of the 1st palettes I couldnt wait to use was Nomads Hudson Valley 🍂 The cover art always makes me feel a certain type of way 🥰🧡 Its one ive cherished for a long time. Its being rereleased and its got me thinking whether I should buy it again or not. It would be the first palette a buy a back up of. Mine is still fine no smell, performace is still there but the thought of it going bad and getting old, is seriously breaking my heart. This is one that I do not want to be without. Decisions, decisions 🙃 for todays look I used the mattes but brought in some singles Goldie Red Holo from Touch Of Glam and Ballistic from Shine By Sd. I also used a bit Electrum’s Celestial Witch. I wanted my look to be as magical as the season. For this week’s Throwback Thursday, we are using Glaminatrix Bonfire palette to celebrate @jaz.loves.panning birthday 🥳🎂 a special request from her! I dont own that one unfortunately so Ill be using Nocturnal 💚 #throwbackthursdaycollab hosted by @katelynhousedaily I went straight for the shade ‘Murky’ and wanted to pair it with ‘Witching Hour’ eventhough I knew it would somewhat muddy up. I keep forgetting that Chartreuse greens lean yellow on me so it actually worked out. I wasnt going for a yellow/purple combo but ill take it 💛💜 I couldnt resist adding some black gems and black eyeliner to give it some edge. My one regret with this look is not taking the blur shimmer higher. Such a cool palette and made me happy to give it some love! Today’s look comes from a palette from a brand we do not speak of. The Voldemort of the indie community as some have said lmao im sure you know who im referring to. I may not support this brand anymore but you know what I do support?? Shopping your stash 😊 Its the first time I feature any of their palettes on my account but I did start using them this yr little by little on my off time. They cost too much to just have them sit around. As I was creating my look, I thought it would be fun if I included a brand that I DO support and that is Clionadh✨ I wanted the star of my look to be a single from them and not the other brand so I took out Myrrh. This look made me think of Fall meets Halloween and I freakin loved it! I Couldnt resist matching my lips with Myrrh so I took out Unearthlys Menacing Metal lipstick in Ghostly 💜 eyeshadow is all about having fun and I sure did! I did this look the last few days of August but didnt post it for silly reasons but now that im sick 🤧 it seems like the perfect time. Im so curious, what palette comes to mind when seeing this look?? Did a 9 pan pop in your head? Perhaps Lethal’s Air (ATLA) palette? Because if it did, then you are correct! This one is the least out of the 4 that I use so I wanted to show it some love. I was going out for errands and wanted to feel cute 💖 Thats all for now friends, going back to resting. Its been a while since I last Used Samarian Sunset by Adept C. 🌅 But I was super excited to use it when it was announced for this week’s #throwbackthursdaycollab hosted by the lovely @katelynhousedaily Ive been craving for some olive tone looks now that we’ve entered September so I focused on the yummy shade “Darmock” and added some orange of course 😁🧡 (Delta Quadrant) I was originally going to pair this with House Of El but I usually like to stick to one palette especially when the color story is a challenge for me which I like. I threw on one my favorite cool town brown lippie Cedar Wood by Sephora which sadly is discontinued so I hardly use for fear of running out. Imma need Black Moon to replicate this shade! Another look with Nomad’s Australian Outback Adventure palette 🦘this time the night was my inspiration. As someone who loooves the night, I wondered what it looked like in the Outback so I googled it and wow its beautiful with a blue sky full of stars! 🌌 (I included a pic taken by Melissa Findley who wrote a lovely article if youd like to read it) I knew the duo shimmer “Bush & Beyond” would be the perfect representation of its beauty. I know its a similar look to last time but that was the inspo so I couldnt help it 😅 I went with a peach inner corner to give it a galactic feel. Topped it off with unearthly Menacing Metal Lipstick in ‘Fury.’ Feeling great and ready to go in my moody, warm look 💙🧡 Still playing with this one but so far, so good. Cant go wrong with a good matte formula and sparkly shimmers. I hope you had an amazing August! Everytime I look at Hidden Peace by @titaniumfoxes_cosmetics I instantly think of Summer ☀️ I remember as the season started approaching, I was so excited to play with it. It was going to be the first one I dipped my brushes into but for some silly reason, it ended up being one of the last 😑 looking at this tropical color story, my eyes went straight to ‘Wandering Thoughts’ (baby blue matte) & Night Sand (brown matte) so I went with both. As lovely as the mattes are, its the shimmers that always make me gasp because of how impactful they are!✨ I was enjoying every single moment that I added some gems from Dieverune. Speaking of adding, I included (almost) all of the products I use daily in case anyone has ever been curious (I forgot to include Nyx Brow Glue in clear). Hidden Peace is quite lovely so I need to use this one again because 1 look is criminal. The weather has been pretty hot and what a perfect palatte to play with at this moment High Temp from unearthly for @katelynhousedaily Throwback Thursday #throwbackthursdaycollab Im so glad I was able to get this one again after USPS lost my package back in January. I have been ordering makeup since 2018 and that was the first time a package had ever gotten lost. Heartbreaking to say the least. Anywho, upon looking at this oh so delicious color story, I was drawn to the reds I know who am I? I guess my life likes chaos lol I was kind of in a rush so the least shades the better. I ended up using ‘Heated, Blazing, Bright & Toasty’ I wanted the red to really STAND OUT. I added a bit of the pastel yellow to soften the edges and a bit of my Urban Decay glitter liner to give it more of that fiery feel and I was done 😁 I can say that I was super happy with how it turned out! My only regret is the lip combo. I was going to go for a red lippie but I felt like it wouldve taken the attention away from the look but now im wondering if it wouldve been a better choice 😕 I cant wait to play with this one again! Never in a million yrs did I think I would say this but today’s look is from the new release from @nomadcosmetics Outback Adventure which they sent to me in PR 😭 I was nominated and won the PR contest they held a couple weeks ago! A huge thank you to these wonderful ladies and friends who nominated me @angelerinbeauty @helloeah @thatnursewiththeprettymakeup , to Nomad for giving me this amazing opportunity which I will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️ and to everyone who left a sweet message when I posted the announcement on my stories 🥹 The Outback Adventure palette is a 18 pan palette with a mixture of warm and cool tones. Its a very muted, neutral color story. When I saw the reveal, this made my heart skip a beat! As someone who lives in a desert city, the colors made me think of the dry, hot weather that I experience here 🥵 its so spot on! I was enamored by the pink, fiery multichrome ‘Go-Anna’ a very smooth and not emollient in the slightest multichrome which shifts pink, to yellow to green but I couldnt catch it in action which is a shame. I wanted my lid to be fiery just like a red sky in the evenings. Eventhough my look isnt super colorful, I did like it a lot especially with this lippie! Talk about eye maxxing lol This isnt a bold, colorful type of color story but I think the shimmers can amp up a look. Perfect for the work place if you cant wear bold looks. I also think this one can be a great companion and im thinking of pairing it with Hudson Valley soon! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask 🙂 I will be using this again soon because I still want to get a feel for this palette. This is more of a first impressions since this is my first look. The lipsticks are amazing so far! They dont give you that dry feeling and theyre comfortable but they do settle into your fine lines. No sweet scent. I really like this color and will be using quite often during Fall/Winter time! I will be using the blush in a future look Thats all for now! Bringing you a deadly nightshade inspired look for @katelynhousedaily Throwback Thursday open collab with the Muse palette from @cosmic_brushes #throwbackthursdaycollab The palette for this week is Delish Delights but I dont own it so I brought out Muse. I also brought out Serenity in case but didnt use it. Idk why but I was DRAWN to the shimmer ‘Amethyst’ but wasnt sure what mattes to use. I googled flowers to see if something would inspire me and Nightshades popped up so the little light bulb in my brain turned on 💡 and had an idea of what to use. I went with the darkest shade ‘Fig’ which worked out in my favor because its a pretty dark purple and smoothed the edges with ‘Softly’ it ended up looking more blue than green but its fine it still worked out. I shouldve gone in with green for the inner corner but went a whole different route lol pretty happy with how it turned out regardless which is what counts right? About time I do an orange look 🧡 ive been too busy loving on blues that this was a refreshing break. The reason for this look was because the new Cosmic Beauty The Sun Tarot palette got me feeling all sorts of things 😍🫠 it screams Summer time in the best way 🌞 it reminded me of an old bundle from Give Me Glow called ‘Nighlife’ the coral version. Couldnt wait to to dig into the oranges! There are no deepening shades here so I ended up taking out Vintage Rose which also led me to take out some of their singles. I couldnt help myself but use ‘Party Monster’ one of my favorite singles from the brand. Just look at the red base peeping through! It was a Give Me Glow type of day which was fun 🧡 I threw on this matching top and was feeling the monent 😌💅 these fiery shades reminded me of A Perfect Circle’s Mer De Noms album cover so you get a song from them today 😁 What colors are you loving right now?
