@naomigrows shines a spotlight on the stunning houseplant studios at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. by @naomigrows
THE CAT IS OFFICIALLY OUT OF THE BAG 🌿✨ I’ve been quietly keeping this secret for months and I genuinely cannot believe I finally get to say it… 🫣 I’m going to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with the @bbc @the_rhs and @tiktok as part of the BBC Creator Lab 2026 😭 Which ALSO means not only will I be visiting Chelsea for the very first time, but I’ll be creating content with BBC, RHS and @gardenersworldtv, and appearing as part of the Chelsea TV coverage on Monday (!!) - a completely surreal sentence to type because I’ve genuinely never been before. Life always seemed to get in the way, but this is the biggest opportunity I’ve ever had. Back at the end of March, I spent the most intense, inspiring week with Creator Lab ‘In Bloom’ at the stunning @boreplace - absolutely packed with workshops, filming, creative pitching to commissioners and meeting some ridiculously talented people. Honestly one of the loveliest parts of the whole experience has been the community that came from it. Everyone was so supportive and encouraging, and somehow in less than a week a group of strangers became actual friends 🫶 It’s been such a special reminder that gardening online can be collaborative, welcoming and genuinely exciting (imagine sitting down at dinner talking about the best brand of compost and the other person being just as excited about it as you are 🤣), and now we all get to experience CHELSEA together 🌸 You’ll probably know a lot of these faces already, but I’m tagging them anyway because they’re wonderful: @gracemandeville @a_life_in_the_garden @for.plantssake @blackinmotion @lamphjude @robdoingrob @dave_the_plantman @gardenwithjonny @ninatheplantmum @emjorealdavies @inthegardenwitheliandkate CARU CHI / LOVE YOU 💖 And a special shoutout to @catrinmaimorris for sending me this opportunity in the first place! 💞 ‘DA NI’N MYND I CHELSEA BOIS BACH! 😭 @bbcstudiostalentworks @tiktok_uk by @naomigrows
I do this every year 🌸 and I still can’t decide if I like it 🫣 ‼️PLEASE NOTE: not every magnolia is recommended for eating - always check the ID 🌿 and it is NOT suitable for consumption during pregnancy‼️ Would you try it? * Dwi’n g’neud hyn bob blwyddyn 🌸 ac allai dal ddim penderfynu os dwi’n licio’r blas 🫣 ‼️NODER: nid yw pob magnolia yn cael ei argymell i’w fwyta - gwiriwch y math o blanhigyn bob amser 🌿 ac NID yw’n addas i’w fwyta yn ystod beichiogrwydd‼️ Fysa chi’n trio tamad o fagnolia? #edibleflowers #magnoliaseason #springvibes #gardenlife #edibleplants by @naomigrows

A little golden hour dahlia appreciation post before they disappear for the winter 🌸 Here are some of my faves from this year, look at themmmm 😭💐 I wish I could tell you what each variety is called but unfortunately I buried the labels with each tuber 🫪 and as you can see, the flower bed is a hot mess and there’s no way I’m diving in there until it’s time to lift them 🤓🙅‍♀️ If you like a particular one, let me know in the comments and I’ll try and guess which variety it is 🤠🪴 #dahlia #dahliasofinstagram #autumngarden #octobergarden #goldenhourmagic by @naomigrows
🚨 The houseplants have filed a formal complaint 🚨 *neenaw neenaw* Apparently they’ve been getting far less attention than the flowers, veg and rest of the outdoor garden lately ☹️ and yes ok they may have a point 😬🤫 Sooo in between the autumn sowing, we’re making some time for some houseplant care again 🪴🆘 Don’t worry, the outdoor garden hasn’t been sacked off, we’re just diversifying 💅🌸🌿😇 There’s room for houseplants, flowers, veg and all the gardening chaos here guys 🥹🌈 Be honest… are your houseplants thriving, surviving or silently plotting against you? 👀🌵 #houseplants #indoorplants #houseplantlovers #gardeninguk #gardeninglife by @naomigrows
I’ve been waiting a longgg time for this one 🥹🌿 If you were around for the 2020 houseplant boom, you’ll remember how wildly expensive some houseplants became, especially the really desirable variegated plants - we’re talking thousands for some! 🤢 A variegated Alocasia Frydek was firmly on my wishlist back then, but I could definitely not justify the £££ 🫠 Fast forward a few years and they’ve finally become much more accessible, and I found this one in my local garden centre for £16.99 💃🏻🪴 Obviously I had to bring it home 🤓 And now I get to put it next to my original gorgeous velvety Alocasia Frydek, which my husband surprised me with when they dropped in price a few years ago 🔥 It’s fascinating seeing how much the houseplant market has changed over recent years. Plants that once felt completely unattainable can suddenly turn up in an ordinary garden centre at a price you can actually justify. Did you get into houseplants during the lockdown boom? And do you remember the ridiculous prices? 👀😂 #alocasiafrydek #plantgirl #variegatedalocasia #houseplantcomunity #houseplantlovers plant girl | plant parent | plant lovers | houseplant community | indoor jungle | houseplant collection | girls who grow by @naomigrows
Hello houseplant people, I’ve missed you 🥹🪴💖 Slowing down and going back to my roots (pardon the pun 🤪) with this one 🌿 If you’ve known me a while, you’ll know that before the flowers and the vegetables, my grid was a space to share my love of houseplants with the world, and I REALLY want to show you more of them again because believe it or not, I’m still obsessed! 😍 It feels slightly scary posting this longer form reel, and Instagram has already told me that the algorithm is against me by doing so. Therefore if you enjoy it, please let me know! 🫶 I’ve also edited a lot of information out to make it as short as possible, so it you have any questions please do pop them in the comments ⤵️ I hope you enjoy, diolch o galon am sticio o gwmpas! 🌿💘 Tagging my rings @thegreatfrogldn because they are EVERYTHING ✨ @grosvenorgardencentre where I got this bargain orchid 🌸 @dunelmuk where I got the cover pot on sale for £3 😎 by @naomigrows
Here they are 😭💖 I grew these for our wedding 🥹🎊 I don’t think I was prepared for how it would feel seeing the dahlia bed looking like this. Months of sowing, potting up, planting out, staking, watering (a LOT 🥲), feeding, protecting them from slugs, all for this moment. If you can’t tell, I’m really, really proud of these flowers. 💗🧡 dahlias | wedding flowers | september wedding | cut flower garden | homegrown flowers | flower garden | cottage garden | cottagecore | autumn | autumnal | autumn garden #dahlias #weddingflowers #cutflowergarden #flowergarden #growyourownflowers by @naomigrows
