"Next time, I will do better." 🥈

Roshibina Devi has won her third Asian Games medal in a row: bronze in 2018, silver in 2023 and now silver again in the women's 60kg sanda.

She fell 0-2 to China's Zhang Xiaoyu in the final, and said she felt the weight of expectation from the Indian contingent to bring back gold. She also revealed she picked up a knee injury in the semifinal.

Naorem Roshibina Devi (@naorem_wushu ) has won silver in the women’s 60kg Sanda event at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, securing her third consecutive Asian Games medal. The Manipuri athlete lost 0-2 to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu in the final, with Zhang winning both rounds 5-0. Roshibina had earlier defeated Indonesia’s Thania Kusumaningtyas 2-0 in the semifinal. Her latest medal follows bronze at the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games and silver at the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023.

She is the first Indian Wushu athlete to win medals at three consecutive Asian Games. Roshibina was also brought into India’s 2026 squad after the original selection changed.
