The Power of a Wish: Hope in Action for Make-A-Wish is more than my community service initiative for the Miss California and Miss America Opportunity, it is work that has been part of my life long before I ever held a title.

My involvement with Make-A-Wish did not begin because of a competition or a crown. As a wish recipient, I have experienced firsthand the power of hope during some of life’s most difficult moments. Giving back to this mission through volunteering, speaking, fundraising, and advocacy has been something I have done for Make-A-Wish for years.

Having The Power of a Wish as my community service initiative has simply given me a larger platform to highlight the incredible work Make-A-Wish is already doing and to share a message that means so much to me. I am standing here today because of hope, and if I can help bring that same hope to even one child or family, then every effort is worth it.

(Español ↓) I’ve been noticing more and more signs around town showing projects funded by Measure G and it’s great to see the difference it’s making right here in our neighborhoods. From smoother roads to local improvements, it’s clear our city is investing back into the community. After attending city council meetings and town halls, I’ve really seen how much our city officials care about making Napa better for all of us. It’s amazing to watch the places we drive every day finally get the attention they deserve! 💙🚙✨

Celebrating National STEM today! 👩‍💻💙
Throwing it back to when I had the honor and privilege of hosting the Women in Engineering and STEM dinner at Santa Clara University. This evening was filled with community, inspiration, and the drive to build a more inclusive future in tech. We had amazing panelist share how they broke through barriers and advice to other women interested in related fields.

As a woman in STEM, I have seen firsthand how representation matters and how mentorship can spark the next generation of innovators. Now, through my work with Girl Scouts, I am helping make STEM more approachable and exciting for girls.

Here’s to empowering more young women to explore, create, and lead in STEM.

-

✨ What a night to remember!✨
Our YPAC x Make-A-Wish Trivia Night was completely SOLD OUT! Over 400 people filled the Applebee’s on Fisherman’s Wharf in SF for this private event. Together we raised more than $40,000 to help grant life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses 💙🌟

As someone whose life was forever changed by my own wish experience, this cause is deeply personal to me. The magic of a wish brings hope, strength, and joy to children and families who need it most. Being able to give that back means everything.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, donated, and helped make this possible and to everyone on the Young Professional Advisory Council (YOAC) for helping organize such an unforgettable night. YPAC is an amazing opportunity for young professionals to make a real difference in our community, and I’m so proud to be part of it.

Bonus highlight: our grand raffle prize was United Airlines Roundtrip Tickets for Two to Hawaii! 🌺✈️✨💙

(Español ↓) Alston Park has always held such a special place in my heart. I grew up coming here for walks, picnics, and beautiful Napa sunsets. Seeing the park get new bathrooms might seem like a small thing, but it’s truly a big step for our community. It shows care, love, and investment in the spaces that bring us together. I’m so excited to see Alston continue to grow and stay a place where Napa families, friends, and pups can keep making memories. 💙☀️✨
