(Cont from above post): We want to thank all friends who have known him since he hung around Dunman High School, and to everyone who loved him and knew him either as students or as cat friends online. To the batch of 2024 Y6s, thank you. On the day he had his MRI cancelled, my class ran late and I had to bring Nappy to school. My students were looking after him during their break while I had my lesson. Nappy enjoyed the piano music. Thank you for taking care of him.

We also want to thank SPCA and the vets and nurses for taking care of him especially in his final few months. Thank you for guiding us as first time parents in the Chronic Kidney and tumour care and to the Neuro and emergency staff when Nappy had brain tumour. When the first vet warned us his sickness will cost us a lot and will be hard to medicate, we said we will take it on, not knowing the test came earlier than expected. Despite we could medicate him, it proved too much for him. At least we were right not to put him to sleep as he wanted to make his own choice and decide when he wanted to go.

We won’t be able to reply all your messages but please feel free to post stories or posts of any memory you have of him and tag us. Nappy was such a special boy, intelligent, charismatic, kind and so so loving with a sassy attitude! He was our son and I’m so proud of him fighting to the end. I know his last words to us when he heard us was probably “Mom and Dad, I’m so tired, I think I have to go. Thank you.” In time I will also share when we met Cat whisperers, what Nappy was thinking of us (we were so desperate then to know his sickness) and it was so touching to know.

To cat friends, please continue the good work you do in adopting strays or those who need help. We feel great pain and loss with Nappy’s demise but we also remember and are forever grateful for the memories with Nappy. He has brought us, and so many students and people so much joy, it makes me proud and happy as his mother knowing the good things he has done.

Thank you for loving him. Nappy is one lucky boy.🌈Run free little man. This song reminds me of him.

Dear Nappy, it has been 2 years and 6 months since you have passed away. Maybe was your power looking out for the girls but they recently fell very ill vomiting and bad poo and we brought them down to the vet. Suspected worms since they like to catch insects (!) but Atty had a high calcium count from the test which thankfully isn’t so serious according to the vet but glad we detected it earlier and now monitoring. Next is to check Gingy. Thank you for looking after the girls. Atty was very good with the needles and meds. Gingy not so😅 you were still the no.1 terror of all hospitals 🤓Gingy has been by Atty’s side sleeping with her on the bed (rarely when she is well) and Atty now is back to eating better. 8/8: Happy 2nd year adoption day girls!!! A day after 月命日of your brother’s passing. Both of you also like to playfully fight and know which buttons to press😮‍💨you don’t realize it but you guys really know how to twin. We love you so much. I used to feel guilty but dad said our hearts are big enough to love all three of you. How right he is. Dear Nappy. It’s been 2 years 5 months since you’ve passed. We still miss you a lot. Exactly a day later in 2024 we adopted your sisters who by fate were available for us to come down and bring back home. Your sisters keep eating the cardboard of your car. Dear Nappy, it has been two years and four months since you’ve passed. Not a single day has gone by that we don’t think of you. Atty is so loving in her own way and Gingy is playful. Recently they have been going round to help us with catching little beetles.. I remembered you were so scared of them. Well Gingy has scratched mom and Atty on dad and you don’t do that so I guess the gods were fair😂recently Mom dreamt of you.. did you come to visit us? We miss you and hope you are happy wherever you are. Remember this pic? It was at your staycation and you liked it but hit your head against the glass when you jumped thinking it was an open door😓you never did it again. You learnt fast and never made mistakes again.. the girls took after you in that way especially Gingy in her jumps (she doesn’t miss) and Atty being careful (she won’t do it unless sure.
