so if you don’t know i was laid off six months ago from a full time culture writer position and it fundamentally changed my relationship with work, creativity, and my sense of self.

since then i’ve written countless stories, essays, and commentaries in my most transparent, controversial, and liberated voice without a trace of friction and self-doubt.

here are just some of the cool things i’ve written over the spring and summer. i just wanted to say i’m just endlessly grateful to continue to pursue this craft despite media’s increasingly difficult landscape. (also this freelancer life is crazy — i’m always open to resource sharing <3)

and to the people who’ve just stumbled onto my work or have been real loyal readers since my college newspaper days — i can’t express my gratitude enough in an instagram post. love y’all down! by @nardos.haile
