To my ABSOLUTE BEST FRIEND, previously on earth, now in heaven.
I still cannot comprehend the fact that you are gone. Every passing second from the moment I heard the news has been excruciating. You were my best friend, my personal advisor and the only person who truly studied and understood me. You never failed to make me feel appreciated and loved.
I have finally gained the courage to type this. I guess I didn't want to because I didn't know how to.
I always told you to stop calling me "Vulture", but I'd give anything to hear it one last time.
At least you're free from the shackles of all the evil this world had in it. Heaven has indeed gained an angel, and I know it would be selfish of me to say I want you to come back.
Every piece of my heart shatters into a million more pieces at the realization that you're not going to be in Abuja whenever I go, we're not going to take more 'I woke up like this' pictures, we're not going to take walks in the evening, do dishes together, fight over the most random things and you're not going to be here to listen to me rant about the most minor inconveniences.
I never really understood the concept of death until it came for you. I miss you so so much My Ivanka. I feel like I've lost a piece of me. You'll always be in my heart.
Those we love never truly leave us, there are things death cannot touch. I find solace in the fact that you're in heaven, and undoubtedly, we will meet again.
Fly high my co-psychologist. I'll live the dream for both of us.
