God Dream 💭

Man. I’m speechless. I think I’m going to need at least a month to fully process everything that happened yesterday and the days leading up to our 3rd @thedistrictcollab pop-up, but I’ll say this for now… yesterday legitimately shook me to my core and brought me to a place I’ve NEVER been with Jesus. He is so faithful and worthy of ALL of the sacrifices we make. ESPECIALLY the hidden ones.

It’s an honor and the privilege of a lifetime to serve this vision of His and my prayer is that I can continue to have the grace and wisdom to steward this thing and build it so He can use it however He sees fit.

And I’m so grateful. So incredibly grateful for this team and for everyone that has a hand in making these events something truly special and unique. Family 🙏🏽🙏🏽🫱🏽‍🫲🏼

In my 20s, I was introduced to prayer rooms and extended 12 hr plus even 24hr plus worship through ministries like IHOP and YWAM. This was a completely new concept for me coming from the Catholic Church.

I was drawn to the idea of simply dwelling in the Lord’s presence. No agenda, nothing to ask for, just being with Him. I got so pulled into this that I started intentionally seeking out those spaces. I remember me and a group of friends would intentionally sign up for 2–4am prayer room sets, and some of the sweetest moments I’ve had with Him came out of those times. Those seasons were pivotal in shaping my faith.

As I’ve gotten older, it’s been harder to find that same environment. Life, family, work, kids, etc. Sunday services, corporate worship settings, album recordings are beautiful, no doubt. It’s hard to put into words, but there’s something about just sitting with the Lord that hits in a way nothing else does.

Recently, our church started hosting prayer rooms, and it took me right back to those early years.

I’m really just grateful for the Lord and His faithfulness through every season. I’m grateful He met me where I was back then.

The race has not been easy, but one thing remained the same. My desire to be near Him. taken in King of The Nations by @narpldr
