GUESS WHAT?!? I am running a crash course on jazz standards at UNSW, Thursdays 2-4pm in G16!!

It’s totally free and everyone is welcome, especially those who haven’t studied jazz, just make sure to bring your instrument!! It runs every week during T3 at UNSW (no class during flex week), and each week we will be focusing on a different genre of jazz standards!

The first class is tomorrow!!

Email or message me at narrahps@gmail.com or 0459909138 for the sheet music and recordings! taken in UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture by @narrahps

It has been such a joy playing latin music. As many of you know I am Mexican-American, but ever since being in Sydney, I have hardly played any latin music. That is why I am so happy to be playing in my first latin band @candelalatinband . We are playing our first gig next Friday, June 5th @lazybonesloungemarrickville and I am so excited. Come have a dance if you are free! by @narrahps

Had so much fun playing drums in Big Band last night!! Switching between latin and swing feels is peak experience as a drummer😊 Thanks for directing @ellen_c_k by @narrahps

Soloing without piano or bass😬
This is a great standard, “There Will Never Be Another You”. Thanks for the inspiration @timcollinsvibes who I saw do a solo intro to this piece.
