What started as a dream on wheels—a humble mobile trailer serving coffee around Raleigh/Durham area—is now growing. As we continue our mobile concept around the area, We’re excited to take you behind the curtain as we bring the soul of Narrative Coffee to life in our Downtown Durham location. This will be our first brick & Mortar.

From the moment I walked in, the customer service made me feel so welcome. The space is calm, inviting, and perfect for a productive work session—with strong Wi-Fi that actually keeps up with you. They also validate parking for up to an hour, which makes stopping by downtown even easier.

I ordered their Southern Banana Pudding Latte, and it definitely lived up to the hype. 🤎

Whether you’re answering emails, editing content, meeting a friend, or just looking for a cozy spot to recharge, Narrative Coffee is worth the visit.

I found this little coffee shop after showing homes in Durham and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. ☕️

The coffee was amazing, but what really stood out was the feeling. It felt like one of those places where everyone knows each other, where you could picture yourself becoming a regular.

That’s the part people don’t always think about when they’re buying a home. It’s not just about the house, it’s about finding a community that feels like home.

The goal has never been to build just another coffee shop.

We’ve always wanted to create a place where people feel welcome. A place where conversations happen naturally, and where strangers become friends.

This isn’t a marketing ad.

It’s just a collection of real moments from life at Narrative.

And that’s our favorite part.

We love the moments you can’t plan.

A conversation between strangers.

A laugh that carries across the room.

Someone walking in alone and leaving knowing someone they didn’t before.

We love seeing connections grow into friendships, and friendships grow into community.

And honestly… we’ve made a few friends from behind the bar ourselves.

That’s the beautiful part.

Coffee might be what brings people through the door, but it’s the people who make this place what it is.

A perfect day exploring Durham, NC!
☕️ We started the morning at one of our favorite local coffee shops @narrativecoffeeco.
🌮 Then walked to the Durham Food Hall and straight to @exvoto.durham. Trust me on the Roasted Chicken & Plantain Crunchwrap!
⚾️ Then finished the day cheering on the @durhambulls under the lights at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park!
Nothing beats the crowd energy like minor league baseball in the heart of downtown Durham.

🐂 From local favorites to downtown vibes, Durham is one of North Carolina’s best destinations for a day trip with so much to do!
