Birmingham artist Imrhan (@lotto_ash) formally known as Lotto Ash drops his first independent Gospel song called “Nice With Christ”

The artist formerly apart of the successful duo ‘Lotto Boyzz’ record deal with 5K Records/Sony Music Entertainment recently ended and Imrhan has now gained full creative control and has blessed us with the drop “Nice With Christ”.

It’s been over year since Imrhan publicly took us on his faith journey and we encourage him on his walk.

Imrhan was a part of a conglomerate of artist from Birmingham that where part of the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony and plays the piano at his local church.

“Nice With Christ” is out on all major streaming platforms 🙏🏽🕊️

🇬🇧x🇫🇷 Mobo Award winning artist Still Shadey (@stillshadey) and Ti-Yo (@tiyo_off) come together to bring us an Afro-Soul Anthem titled ‘Ça va aller’

The song aims to encourage us to not worry especially to those who are mourning and that everything will be fine in the end. 🙏🏽

Ti-Yo and Still Shadey really complimented eachother well on the track, they both didn’t sound out of place at all despite singing in two different languages.

I’ll also say that the production’s smooth vibe really makes you feel at home.

‘Ça Va Aller’ is out now on all major streaming platforms.

'A Lingi Nga' or 'He Loves Me' by Darlène Fella (@dadafella) a different vibe from what I usually post but this song deserves all the love from the time I heard the snippet over a year ago to its release in August. Better late than never.

For the longest I always thought Lingala would sound hard on Amapiano and Darlene didn't dissappoint in delivering that for us.

I must also give a shoutout to the black fit she's wearing in the video maybe there's also a career as a stylist waiting.

Condoseven (@condoseven) recently drop 'Congratulations' along with its music video.

Tebrikler that's how you say Congratulations in Turkish and let's start with my thoughts:

One thing that stood out to me was how JY was doing the chorus as opposed NL despite that he didn't disappoint. It's good to see a reversal of the usual formula and hope to see more of that going forward.

The overarching theme of the song was about achieving your goal on earth and in heaven and being celebrated for it. As well as patience and endurance in your faith and relationship witht the people around you.

The music video was shot in Turkiye across different views realsed by Aligned Vision.

Rapper K. Lewis (@official.klewis) brought a vibey praise tune to our midst with ‘Weekday’

The beat which was produced by MFS gives off an energetic upbeat feel ready to get us dancing. The premise of the song is also a good one about not only leaving praises to the Most High on a Sunday but throughout the week.

My favourite part of the song has to be the funny line referencing Kayode Ewumi’s ‘the lamb is worthy’ when K Lewis references his partner Kaye Marie 😂

Krista Marguerite’s (@kristamarguerite) first single after half a year has dropped titled ‘Plus Jamais’ (Never again)

The theme of the song is quite simple, the essence of not leaving or letting go of Jesus.
I really enjoyed the musical composition and layering of the vocals and harmonies in this songs which were mixed by David Okit. It’s also very easy song to follow and vibe to. Lastly I enjoyed the sebene guitar playing at the end of the song. The video which was directed and shot by Tim Ntalaja was also very well done, from the colour grading and choice of shot primarily with a back side angle shots against the backlighting gave it the video a more hollow feel.

Oz or O (@_ozmusic) came with slappers only on his recently released EP titled ‘Drillenomics’

He’s accompanied by his ZAA collective mate Kneemarko & NoIfz as well as other Gospel Drill patronage of Zelijah Tishbite and JT Suavé.

I’ll let the songs do the talking, because I do love a cheeky collab let alone multiples in one project. But I’ll say ‘It is Finished’ is my favourite song on the tape and the production on ‘Frying’ is also one which I enjoyed. I also caught the production on ‘Rules of the Jungle’ giving early 2000’s vibes reminiscent of 50 Cent’s ‘Candy Shop’ and it’s not the first time ZAA members have used that sound.

One thing about me is that I love choirs being incorporated into anything, Tidez (@tidezofficial) did it well fusing Afro-Swing with it on his summer song ‘Foreigner’ One other thing about the song and Tidez is that he’ll incorporate his roots one way or another and does it as part of the chorus. The song comes with a video produced by @dir.coevisuals showcased on the GRM Daily YouTube channel. The tune has been spinning in my earphones throughout the past month, hope you all enjoy it the same way I did.
