📝 Day 1 at my first @renderatl (shockingly) ✨

I walked in with three goals so I wouldn’t just wander around trying to absorb EVERYTHING at once.

Made my first new friend before I even left the parking garage 😂 and by the afternoon, somehow, we had a little team.

Walking into a building full of people you don’t know and almost immediately finding connection? Magical. ✨

Then I made an adventure out of building my own little Track around whatever made my brain light up:

✨ AI as part of the design workflow—not just the output
✨ Designing interfaces AI can actually interact with
✨ Feedback loops + how we structure them
✨ CONTEXT is architecture
✨ Security has to move upstream
✨ aka Vibe Coding is only STEP 1 😂
✨ What it actually means to scale at an enterprise level

And somewhere in there, the three goals I walked in with started EXPANDING.

More questions. More concepts. More threads connecting.

I somehow left MORE curious than I came in which... lol, how is THAT possible? 😂

One of my favorite parts was getting to talk about createhers.com as a case study for how I’ve been designing + building with AI as Createhers moves into its next chapter—helping business owners build digital experiences tailor-made for where they’re actually trying to go.

Because I keep coming back to this:

In a time where “efficiency” can start to mean design gives us less...

I think AI used well should give us **MORE room for personality. More delight. More humanity. More whimsy.** ✨

Anyway, my brain is FULL and apparently still accepting new tabs. 😂

This phrase from the song keeps replaying in my mind. "find your way back..." it centers me. like one of those anxiety-combating methods to return your mind to the present.

See everything is built brick by brick. moment by moment. take time with you and hold on to WHY you started.

It doesn't have to look the same. businesses, like dreams & people, can evolve.

Whether you write it out in your planner or journal, open up a fresh (and properly named) Google Doc, writing out (e.g. brain dumping) your ideas really takes them one step closer to reality.

Mind-clearing exercise:
1. Set a timer for 10 minutes (or more if you have it)
2. Open up a fresh page/document
3. Write down everything that comes to mind
4. Store it away and make a note of where it is (create a Google calendar reminder to remind you to check for the note in the exact place you put it - it helps to add the direct link if its a google doc
5. Revisit and cross things off and/or add to it

Experience progress OVER overwhelm.

Creative freedom is the foundation of the design approach I take for projects.

Finding a web design platform that allows me to design pixel for pixel was a gamechanger.

Then, on top of this, being able to design a separate mobile experience is so perfect in a more mobile-focused world.

I've felt better about handing it off to clients because @showit's customer support is so fast & friendly, it all feels like a well rounded team experience.

Marked annually on March 8th, International Women's Day (IWD) is one of the most important days of the year to:

+ celebrate women's achievements
+ raise awareness about women's equality
+ lobby for accelerated gender parity
+ fundraise for female-focused charities

Hug, Send a quick letter, send a message to the women in your life who've made each day better; who've shown you grace; who've never stopped trying. life is hard, but we are harder. Happy International Women's day, friends!!! by @narshaco
