How good is travelling Ireland by campervan? It’s awesome! Lively cities and towns, ruined castles, epic coastal drives and great hiking! The people are wonderful, wild camping is easy, and there’s great mobile connection. Working from the van, this is important for us. Our Holafly eSIM has been great all throughout Ireland. Check out Holafly before your next overseas trip. The 🔗 is in our B!0. #holaflytraveller #vanlifeireland #nigelandsueadventures AD by @nas_adventures
Is the Dingle Peninsula better than the Ring of Kerry? Swipe through these images then check out our latest vid to find out! #dinglepeninsula #vanlifeireland #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
The Ring of Kerry, Ireland 🇮🇪 The Ring of Kerry is a 179km loop around the Kerry Peninsula. The scenery is fantastic and includes the Kerry Cliffs, which might just be more spectacular than the Cliffs of Moher. There’s a lot of history here too, like the Cahergal Ring Fort. Campervans should travel anti-clockwise, following the tour busses. You DON’T want to meet one of them head on along those skinny roads! See more of the Ring of Kerry in our latest video! #ringofkerry #kerrycliffs #vanlifeireland #irelandbycampervan #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
Dursley Island is just off the tip of the Beara Peninsula in south west Ireland. The tip of the island is said to be the last place to see daylight in Europe each day. To get to the island you need to catch a cable car across the narrow strait. The cable car takes 7.5 minutes and costs €10 return. Once on the island, you can hike out to the tip. It’s a 15km hike and will take about 5 hours (plus a stop at the tower for lunch on the way). We were lucky with great weather and no rain! And swipe to see the multi coloured sheep! See more of this hike in our latest video. #durseyisland #bearapeninsula #wildatlanticway #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
Welcome to Dublin!! We spent two days in Dublin. We did a walking tour, visited the statues of Molly Malone and Oscar Wilde, checked out a few museums and walked through Temple Bar. Swipe to see how we really spent our time in Dublin!! #dublin #guinness #templebar #nigelsndsueadventures by @nas_adventures
Dunhill Castle, Ireland Who knew there were so many ruined castles in Ireland? Dunhill castle is free to enter, and you can climb the steep path to go in the tower. It’s located near the copper coast, south of Kilkenny. Swipe to see the friends we met there and check our latest video for more on this castle and several others. #ireland #dunhillcastle #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
Here’s a cool travel tip that will help you save your phone’s battery life AND your data! Turn off all your background refresh apps (except essential apps like WhatsApp and Maps). OR, do what we do and use an eSIM with unlimited data. We love the Holafly eSIM! It’s available in over 200 destinations, and with Holafly’s Always On, you get an additional 1gb of data every month. Even after your eSIM has expired! Use the link in our bio and the code NIGELANDSUE for an exclusive discount. #holaflytraveller #traveltip #nigelandsueadventures Ad by @nas_adventures
Tintagel, Cornwall - legendary birthplace of King Arthur. I recently spent a couple of days following the King Arthur trail and all the Arthurian legends in Cornwall and Somerset. Starting with Tintagel Castle (well the ruins at least!) Although the ruins we see now were built by the Earl of Cornwall in the 12th century. See more of this epic location in our latest video! #kingarthur #tintagel #tintagelcornwall #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
St Michael’s Mount, Cornwall We’ve just published a complete guide to visiting St Michael’s Mount on our website. You can walk across the ancient causeway at low tide (or take the small boat of the causeway is covered). I did both for the full experience. Check out the castle, and don’t miss the scale model carved out of champagne corks which was made by the butler who worked for the St Aubyn family for 49 years! #stmichaelsmount #cornwall #vanlifeuk #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
Campsite Review: River Valley Holiday Park, Pentewan Valley, Cornwall. I stayed in this campsite in August 2026, peak summer time and it never felt crowded. The pitches are huge (and I only had the standard size!) the facilities are super clean, showers are hot, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Easy to see why people come back year after year. It’s a big 5⭐️from me! #cornwall #campingcornwall #pentewan #nigelandsueadventures by @nas_adventures
