Creating art is only half the journey; discussing the inspiration behind each piece and connecting with an audience is where it truly comes alive.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who attended our artist talk and made it such a memorable event. Though the exhibition has come to a close, the meaningful dialogue and shared experiences will resonate for years to come.

Title: Equality
Medium: Fabric pieces on canvas
Size: 25 inches by 30 inches
Year: 2025

Time is one of the most democratic gifts of all, and none of us has more or less of it in a day. No one will live forever on the face of the earth as our time here is limited. This reality should awaken us to the importance of being intentional about how we live each day. by @nasag_ng

In the vibrant heart of contemporary African art, a powerful new piece emerges - a collaboration between mixed media artist Bankole Emmanuel [@nuel_arts] and multidisciplinary artist Owadasa Roland [@its_lines] Titled “Seed of Infinite Possibilities,” this striking work invites viewers into a layered visual narrative where hope, transformation, and self-discovery meet in fabric and form

“The Seed of Infinite Possibilities” is more than a visual experience, it’s a conversation. It speaks to the resilience of identity, the innocence of dreams, and the transformative power of planting something small with great faith. It also reflects the creative harmony between the two artists, who blend their styles and philosophies to create a unified, emotionally charged work.

“The Seed of Infinite Possibilities” is a radiant reminder that every beginning, however small. holds within it the power to change everything. by @nasag_ng

The Biblical Allegories have inspired an amazing Art exhibition by Emmanuel Bankole, showcasing the uniqueness of talents and the pivotal role of divinity in attaining a purposeful life. The exhibition was themed “Burden or Becoming”. The theme was infused by one of scripture’s most discussed allegories, the parable of the talent, to bring into limelight that our purpose is connected to our gift. The event was recently held at the Radisson Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos...

Among Emmanuel Bankole’s collaborations, Seed of Infinite Possibilities II shines with a special resonance. Created alongside @its_lines (Owadasa Roland), the work began as Roland’s sketch and was reborn through @nuel_arts (Emmanuel Bankole)’s fabric-on-canvas medium — a dialogue between what we are given (gifts/talents) and its great potential. by @nasag_ng

Emmanuel Bankole's (@nuel_arts ) Artist Talk on The Parable of the Talents, moderated by Stephanie Ohwo (@iam_darkpearl ), was nothing short of amazing!

We are deeply grateful to everyone who came, engaged, asked questions, and shared in this journey with us. Your presence, energy, and insights made the conversation so rich and meaningful.

Thank you for taking the time to connect with the works beyond the surface — for listening, reflecting, and adding your voices to this dialogue.

This is more than an exhibition; it’s a shared exploration of gifts, responsibility, and becoming. And we couldn’t have asked for a better audience to share it with. by @nasag_ng
