Play your role 🏁

Understand this: life will keep circling until it meets direction.
Without assignment, motion becomes repetition.
Without purpose, movement becomes distraction.

Consult with God.
Get clear on what He placed you on this earth to do.
Find the assignment attached to your name.
Find the purpose tied to your breath.

And once you know it—stand on it.
Ten toes on the assignment.
Ten toes on the purpose.
No drifting. No folding. No excuses.

Stay disciplined.
Stay aligned.
Stay in motion.

The marathon continues.
Change the narrative.🏁🏁

Here at “Change The Narrative”, we are not sugarcoating NOTHING that is going on in the community. We are having real vulnerable conversations. Conversations that are not being had enough.

Thank you to everyone who came out, spoke up, listened, and helped create a space where students can be heard without judgment. Every conversation is another step toward breaking the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. by @nascooke

Introducing the 2026-2027 CTN Executive Board!🏁

We are proud to introduce the 2026-2027 Executive Board of “Change The Narrative”. At CTN, we are dedicated individuals that are changing the narrative everyday not just for ourselves, but for the community of the University of Houston. We pride ourselves on creating a safe space for everyone on the University of Houston campus and making sure that every student that feels unheard, is HEARD. We are not asking for a seat or waiting for permission. We are creating space for PURPOSE, ALIGNMENT, and LEGACY. For those choosing INTENTION over LIMITATION.

The future of CTN starts here!

PRESSURE IS A PRIVILEGE

PURPOSE IS THE PRIZE

📸: @sfdigitals

Somebody once said to me, “Learn how to lead yourself before you lead others.”

And truthfully, I got in my head about it. I started questioning whether I was ready to lead anyone else while I was still learning how to lead myself.

But then I realized something.

When you’re truly walking in your purpose and committed to the assignment God has placed on your life, you won’t always recognize the next version of yourself.

Especially when you’re being called to something greater.

You may not always understand who you’re becoming while you’re becoming. You may not always know the next step. You may not always feel ready.

But purpose isn’t always about having all the answers.

Sometimes, it’s simply about being willing to serve.

Because when you stop making it about yourself and start focusing on the people you’ve been called to impact, everything begins to make sense.

These moments remind me that leadership isn’t about a title. It isn’t about who you are, what you have, or how many people know your name.

It’s about the heart you have for people.

It’s about showing up.

It’s about serving.

It’s about pouring into the next generation.

It’s about understanding that sometimes your purpose will require you to become the person you once needed.

So stop leaning on your own understanding, and lean on God.

Keep trusting.

Keep serving.

Keep living in your purpose.

Pressure is a privilege.
Purpose is the prize.
Purpose is your power.

I love y’all. ❤️
