✨Allow us to introduce ourselves✨

We are Niasha Mckoy and Mark Antonio, the owners of Don Eleon

We met in 2020 and shared the same passion for the hair industry, each working to carve our own unique path. We never realized that these paths would eventually fuse into one.

Niasha specializes in Curly and Afro hair cutting with a strong foundation in customized hair regimens. She graduated from MC College in 2015 and worked as a stylist at Freshair Boutique. There, she was able to learn and practice a skill that was not available within the standard hair curriculum. This knowledge opened up opportunities in fashion projects, movie sets and even community activism groups.

Mark has been a barber for over 20 years and started cutting hair in the basement for family and friends. After getting his first fade by his kuya @craftygamdino in Toronto, he was inspired to perfect his skill. He graduated from Louis Riel Arts and Tech in 2015 and since then has won awards, taught classes, worked on movie sets, and traveled the world sharing his knowledge.

“We wanted to create a space where anyone could feel welcome and have trust that they will leave with great hair. A simple idea turned into a business that will always choose people first.”
