🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: REEVES ROAD 🚧

Reeves Road will be fully closed from 6 a.m. Saturday, October 10, through 6 p.m. Monday, October 12, for repairs to the railroad crossing. Work will include removing and replacing the existing railroad tracks.

During the closure, personnel traveling to the Operations Side must use Grangeville Boulevard as an alternate route.

Mainside access will not be affected.

Please plan accordingly and allow extra travel time. Thank you for your patience as crews complete these necessary repairs.

The Schools Gate (Post 2) at Naval Air Station Lemoore will be closed Monday, October 12, in observance of the federal holiday (Columbus Day).

Personnel should plan accordingly and use the Main Gate (Post 1) for Admin side access.

Regular gate operations will resume on Tuesday, October 13.

Welcome Home, VFA-14, VFA-41 and VFA-151! 🇺🇸

Last week, we welcomed home the aircrew and aircraft. Today, Naval Air Station Lemoore welcomes home the remaining Sailors of Strike Fighter Squadrons (VFA) 14, 41 and 151 following a 10-month deployment with Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9 aboard USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72).

Operating in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operation, CVW-9 aircraft completed more than 13,000 sorties, logged 28,500 flight hours and delivered more than 1.5 million pounds of ordnance in support of Operation Epic Fury objectives.

We are proud of our Sailors and their accomplishments and grateful to the families who supported them throughout this deployment.

NAS Lemoore joined installations across the Navy in observing Bells Across America for Fallen Service Members. NASL CO CAPT Jeffry Findlay joined Sailors, families and members of the community in honoring the service members who gave their lives while serving our nation. As their names were called and the bells tolled, we paused to honor their service, their sacrifice and the loved ones who carry their memory forward.

Today, NAS Lemoore gathered to mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and honor those whose lives were lost. Together, we remembered the courage of our nation's first responders, and reflected on the service and sacrifice of those who answered our nation's call in the years that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.

LABOR DAY GATE CLOSURES

In observance of Labor Day, the following NAS Lemoore gates will be closed Monday, Sept. 7:

• Post 11 - CVIS
• Post 2 - Schools Gate
• Post 1A - AVG Gate

Please plan accordingly and allow additional time when entering or exiting the installation. Normal gate operations will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8.

NAS Lemoore service members were proud to support the return of the Central Valley Honor Flight at Fresno Yosemite International Airport, joining the community in giving local veterans a well-deserved welcome home.

Honor Flights provide veterans the opportunity to visit the memorials in Washington, D.C., dedicated to their service and sacrifice. For our Sailors, being there to welcome them home was an opportunity to connect generations of service and personally thank the veterans who paved the way for those serving today.

We are proud of our NAS Lemoore team for representing the Navy and helping make the homecoming a memorable one for our Central Valley veterans.

Today, we proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of the newly modernized Richard J. Neutra Elementary School aboard Naval Air Station Lemoore! 🎉🏫

This incredible transformation represents a $45.7 million investment in our military community, including a $36.6 million grant from the Department of Defense’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation, combined with state and local funding.

Originally ranked 43rd on the Deputy Secretary of Defense’s Priority List due to aging infrastructure and capacity needs, Neutra Elementary now provides a modern, state-of-the-art learning environment for up to 578 students from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.

This investment is more than bricks and mortar, it’s an investment in military families, educators, students, and the strong partnership between Naval Air Station Lemoore and the Central Union Elementary School District.

Here’s to a bright future of learning, growth, and opportunity at Neutra Elementary! 🇺🇸📚

🚧 Schools Gate (Post 2) Hours 🚧

Beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11, the Schools Gate (Post 2) will be open Monday through Friday from 0600 - 1700.

Personnel and residents are encouraged to use Post 2 as an additional option for accessing and exiting NAS Lemoore during these hours.

Please plan accordingly and drive safely as you approach all installation gates.
