It’s been one month since you gained your wings and became the best guardian angel anyone could ever ask for 🕊️

I couldn’t have asked for greater when it came to you. You showed Catalina and I a love that was unmatched and truly unconditional. You saved us when we needed an outlet and these last 4 years living here by you were such a blast. I love that I could call you multiple times a day and you always always answered. You were forever in a joking mood and full of laughter. I never experienced any negative emotions with you, if there was a problem you always were quick to have a solution. When it came to events, school, travel, or whatever on ANY given day- you showed up!

Thank you for leaving me with such wonderful siblings, 10 others to be exact, and 2 beautiful granddaughters! 💕 Thank you for sharing your heart with so many individuals and allowing them to share such incredible stories of you with me. I am proud that so many people knew how proud of me you always were and how you consistently shared my photography. It’s so wild to me that my first visit to the NASCAR racetrack in Charlotte was with you, then years later there I was again on the track taking photos at the Coca Cola 600- which you got to witness. Thank you for being present for Kit Kat since birth and allowing her to grow and learn from you- she’s worried about who will help her with math now 😅 She loved calling and reading to you or sitting and reading with you until one of you fell asleep.

I appreciate how you touched so many lives outside of friends and family. You showed me so many things are possible. You instilled in me to “keep going always, everything will work itself out.” You were the most honest, raw and pure person.

Letter to My Dad:  Thank you for blessing me with 10 other siblings! 🤍  There is not a single word to describe what this last year has been. It is so admirable the way you touched tons and tons of people and the stories they continue to share with me. The laughter you have brought, the tears you have wiped away, the ears you always had for my nonstop talking sessions, the just because pop ups, the support you always had- the list can go on and on forever- just know we miss you so very much. I know you’re always with me, you show up and don’t ever let me forget it!

Here are a few things I know you would be so proud of: 
-All of your children are doing wonderful! -After 28 years, I finally found and met our sister, Destinee and our gorgeous niece, Karsyn.
-10 of the kids were gathered for Thanksgiving in Atlanta, that was one of the most wonderful times, ever. And yes, we most definitely got the food catered.
-The girls come and visit Catalina and I often, which I love because Lauren is quick to take her, Tati braids her hair, and Emily will always carry her.
-Catalina started playing basketball and made it a priority to have your favorite number on her jersey.
-Third grade has started and she is 4’5.5” and CRAZIER and even more intelligent, as each day goes by.
-Our “Perry’s Kids” groupchat is still very much around and active!

Major changes are coming and I just want to thank you for always watching over us, Catalina sees you often and points it out in so so many formats. I know you’re resting easy seeing so many fun things happening
