not much to say, not much to show. just gratitude. i thought this year would finish me. and in some ways, it did. but i also learned what it means to rebuild, piece by piece, day by day. i’ve never been more grateful for the people who stayed, the ones who checked in, the little moments that kept me alive without even knowing it. this year taught me how much love still exists in the quiet corners. to those who stuck around, made me laugh, or simply reminded me i matter - thank you. this one’s for you. this birthday isn’t loud, but it’s full of love. by @nastulii

It’s been a week since I lost my best friend. What I realized, grief is just simply love that we want to give but cannot. It was the hardest week of my life. Every morning starts with the same nightmare of reality. Could I have prevented it? Or was it something inevitable? I don’t know. No one does. Pain coursing through my body cripples me, making it hard to breathe. Memories never stop flashing through my mind. You won’t call me anymore to wish me goodnight. You won’t make me laugh anymore. And you will never make your “delicious sandwich” for me. I know, you didn’t want to leave. And I hope you know you could never truly leave us.
I will never be the same anymore. You were the light in many people’s lives including mine. You’ve introduced me to so many new things and you’ve changed my outlook on the world. I will never forget you and what you’ve brought into my life.

Life isn’t merciful. But I’ll push forward through the tears and pain because I know you want me to. I know I’ll see you again one day, but meanwhile I’ll be looking for you in sunrises, in sunsets, and in the stars. I know you’re here. I just can’t see you anymore. by @nastulii
