If you’re getting married soon, pause before opening Pinterest. Trends are beautiful, but starting there often leads to a spiral of ideas that don’t really connect. Everything looks nice, but nothing feels intentional, and decisions become confusing instead of clear. A better place to start is with you as a couple. Your story, your memories, what actually matters to you, and the feeling you want to create that day. From that, you build a clear concept. A narrative that becomes your north star and guides every aesthetic decision. And once you have that, everything gets easier. Aesthetic decisions make sense. Pinterest stops being noise and becomes a filter. You can clearly explain your vision to your planner and vendors, because everyone is following the same story. Trends stop leading. They start serving your concept. This is a process I use professionally as a brand strategist, translating stories and values into visuals that actually make sense, and it works beautifully for weddings too. Some projects are less about “creating a brand” and more about being invited into someone’s world. I can’t share much yet, by design. But I couldn’t not share a small glimpse of a rebranding process that has been so thoughtful, while also quite radical. This lives here because, at the core, it’s the same work I do with weddings: listening closely, translating values into form, and building a narrative that helps people feel more like themselves. This project wasn’t about obvious or easy answers, but about giving voice to culture, authenticity, and courage. About creating space for people to do the work themselves, together. Feeling very grateful to have been part of shaping what’s coming for @soulve_events , and to have @ajlasabanovic as the most amazing, kick-ass creative partner. This is just a tiny spoiler. If I could give you one good piece of advice for your wedding is: choose your planner like you choose a friend. Gabi and Luana took care of us for months. They listened, paid attention to every tiny thing, never judged, never imposed. With I don’t know how many couples they work with every year, we never once felt like a number. And to make a point of how life can sometimes feel like a perfectly written script… it was Gabi who first told me my work could help other couples. She was the one who encouraged me to be different, even in the middle of all the traditions, and trusted me with her weddings when all I had to show was my own. So this is a big thank you.
