🧱 Brick sessions are back 🧱

I used the Garmin Plan feature for the first time today and really liked how my watch only told me my heart rate and not my pace ⛑️

There’s too much noise out there about pace and subconscious pressure to perform in every run. I REALLLLLLY don’t like when we describe our runs as slow 🐌 like who are we, the pace police 👮‍♀️ 🚔🚨
Your slow is someone’s top speed and they’re out there doing their best 🏎️

We runners need to stick together and lift each other up. It doesn’t matter if you’ve run a 3min km or an 8min km, your out there giving it a go and that’s what matters 🫶

“Heart rate high, 157” is a sentence I never thought I’d hear. Big thanks Garmin for humbling me today as usually I’d be chuffed with that 🤪
No, I wasn’t running my top speed, but I found this run a challenge and struggled to keep my HR within the zones Garmin wanted me to.

Patience in your training is how you learn to run fast on race day ⏩

✨⛷️❄️ What a magical run ❄️⛷️✨

The most picturesque backdrop to cross an icy river multiple times, climb the biggest hill I’ve ever attempted to run, all with the best aid stations you could ask for!

Who knew that fruitcake, shortbread and whisky was so good for fuelling mid run 🥃🍰

I had the best time. So much fun. Iconic outfits. Best company. SNOW! What more could you want
