“Work is love made visible” These are the words on the wall of Natacha’s studio. @natachaledwidge is a wonderful artist and human. Her art is so full of love and a certain kind of spiritual magic. Before I photographed her for an ‘at work’ series in 2021, I attended one of her Visual Medicine workshops. It was playful, soothing and deeply transformative.

“The Visual Medicine process invites one to enter a co-created universe where as a painter I am bringing through the work and also being continually transformed by the work”.

These images remind me how important it is to stay connected to my creative practice – to make images that mean something to me. Natacha’s work does that. It reminds me to play and to take play seriously, especially as I get older!
