Messing around on my violin, this time I'm playing along to King of Pain by The Police. Fun fact, this is actually the very first time I've seen the video for this song. 😄#adultbeginnerviolinist by @nataliabgoodaz

This is the shenanigans I'm up to on a Sunday evening. I realize this isn't perfect and I still have a way to go but I figured I'd experiment with my guitar effects pedal and this was a patch I made. Hopefully I can post this again and play it much better. It took me several hours to learn this lick, and about 35 takes lol. My neighbors don't seem to mind. 😁 #violincover #electricviolin #rushcover by @nataliabgoodaz

Trying something new with music I don’t normally sing…it’s a bit different and it’s nice to sing something other than rock sometimes by @nataliabgoodaz

Sometimes I wonder what would have been if I’d stayed singing in choir in my church. Certainly not belting out rock tunes lol 😆 by @nataliabgoodaz

Well I suppose electric violin is my new full fledged hobby. Just figured out how to access the tuner after tinkering with this for weeks but I have yet to build an actual patch. by @nataliabgoodaz

Never thought I’d have a random bathroom photo shoot but here we are. Lighting is much better in the bathroom 😁 thank you to the stranger that offered to take this by @nataliabgoodaz

There is normally no world where I’d need an effects pedal but I’ve now entered Narnia. Guitarists would know this and this is ancient I suppose when it comes to effects pedals but since acquiring an electric violin I figured this was good to start. Clearly I have no clue what I’m doing and it’s going to take me awhile to figure this out. by @nataliabgoodaz

Sawing through Mozart 40. It’s tough to put these up because I still consider myself a beginner, but I practice. Also please ignore that I’m speeding up a tad faster than the metronome 😜 by @nataliabgoodaz

Last orchestra of the concert season, still learning a lot on this instrument. Over eight years playing and I still toggle between feeling I should be better and yet being amazed on what I’ve been able to learn so far 🎻🧚🏾‍♂️ taken in Open Jar Studios by @nataliabgoodaz
