Year☝️

Running has not gone as I hoped the last few years. I faced constant injury, had no energy, and didn’t truly enjoy running anymore. I realized that my whole identity had become being a runner, and without it, I had nothing. My body was breaking down and I needed to change.

The last year and a half I have taken a step back and taken care of my health. This has been the most challenging time of my life, often questioning whether running competitively was in my future. During this time I have spent more time with friends, gone shopping, out for ice cream, tried new things, and actually started enjoying life again. Getting back into running has been challenging, but I am enjoying the process more than ever!

This journey has been far from easy, but I am super excited to start my next chapter at Bradley. I am surrounded by the most supportive coaches and teammates, who push me to work hard, and a dietician helping become the healthiest and strongest athlete I possibly can. I’m SO excited to announce my commitment to Bradley University to continue running cross country & track! Thank you SO much to my family, teammates & coaches for making this possible! second time running in 50 days wasn’t so bad after all…comeback season 🔜
