Congrats to our Kayenta Police Station crew on Dark Winds Season 4! I loved seeing and hearing so much of our laughter in this first episode. Because it is what we do every time we are on the police station set together. Also shout out to our crew for always dealing with our shenanigans! Much love for your support during those long hours! ❤️❤️🫶🏾🫶🏾

My first romantic comedy I wrote and filmed in a span of a few days. I can’t tell you how nervous I was to show this film in front of an audience for the first time. But hearing laughter echo through the theater was a relief and made me feel proud of what this film represents. I hope to continue to write more content that allows Natives to be seen in our romantic chaotic vibes. 💖

Big thank you to the cast and crew of this project! @tyrelletsitty @rylandwk @foxm4xy @charinepilar @sweethoneyrael @aaronshig @lindyvisionmusic and big thank you to @nyutisch for allowing me to further my goals as a filmmaker. by @natalie_benally

Let this moment be a reminder that you can still be sexy as hell as you age. Society can keep its judgements because at the end of the day, I only get finer as I get older.

It’s @santafeintlfilmfest time! Not only will you be able to watch me on screen in @ashleyinezz film, “The Light That Stays” during the IAIA Shorts block on Thursday, October 15th at 6pm. But I will also be part of the “Your Name in Lights (Actor’s Panel)” on Saturday, October 17th at 12:30pm! What an amazing opportunity to share my experiences and perspectives alongside other amazing and talented actors. I mean, I remember watching Terry O’Quinn in the pilot episode of LOST back in 2004 and now I get to be on the same panel as him?! My little Rez girl heart continues to be amazed and honored to bring Native representation to the conversation. ✊🏾❤️💯🔥 by @natalie_benally

Sometimes life throws you curveballs when you lease expect it. Ended up in ER when the whole left side of my body went numb and weak, got admitted into ICU for potential mild stroke, and then endured a 24hr bed rest, multiple MRIs, heart scans/tests, and blood work to rule out any major health concerns. But thankfully everything came back normal for my brain and heart. And it turns out my shoulder and neck were the source of my symptoms. After 3 days in the hospital, I was finally able to go home today.

I will be starting up physical therapy and will be doing neurology check ups to ensure all is well in the next few weeks. This was by far the most scared I had ever felt. But I am thankful for my family and friends who sent me and the kiddo their love, support, and prayers. I will be taking the next few days to rest and appreciate your compassion and patience while I recoup from this experience. Aheéheé! ❤️ by @natalie_benally

A survivor’s healing journey is never ending. But the process of healing begins when we bear witness to the stories and voices of those who need love and support in times like these. To Jane Doe and my fellow survivors, I hear you, I see you and I believe you. ❤️ by @natalie_benally

It was an R&B filled night with @kehlani here in ABQ. The tributes throughout the set to R&B icons like Aaliyah and Janet Jackson was so fulfilling to hear. And just the overall acknowledgement she gave to the land made me love her even more. Plus the production overall was top-notch. 10 out of 10 night! by @natalie_benally

It was wonderful to have facilitated our Train the Trainer gathering for our current and new Performing Arts NAPD trainers. With the support of our staff, they spent the last three days immersing themselves in our curriculum and learning facilitation techniques. What an amazing cohort we have this year!

Aheéheé to @nmccap for hosting us in their beautiful space. Also special shout out to @roxannebest for being the best co-trainer one could ask for and my coworkers @thatgirlkolby & @newfangledness for supporting us as well.

We are excited to ring another year of the @1stpeoplesfund Performing Arts NAPD trainings! taken in New Mexico Community Capital / Native Entrepreneur In Residence by @natalie_benally
