Haven’t posted about a show in years but I had to post about The Light in the Piazza. I’ve loved being a part of this production and all the people I’ve been able to meet through it.

Mexico… wow I’ve learned a lot

These kids had the most special spirits about them. I could see the light of Christ in each of their eyes and felt the love I know the Savior feels for them.

Even though they’ve gone through things harder than I can imagine, they always had the biggest smiles and positive attitudes.

Sometimes it was hard to not be able to speak the same language, but I was still able to make small connections with each of them through out the 4 short days.

Andddd it was fun too! We danced, ate lots of tacos, watched someone catch a shark, became a human sketch book through nail polish and face paint, had a snack fire and wrapped it all up with a piñata.
