I love church. The body of believers uplifts me, re-centers me, encourages me, prays for me. Sometimes I have gone to church out of utter obligation in seasons where I did not feel the Lord’s presence whatsoever, and people found me in the back and hugged me with knowing compassion. Other times i have been overwhelmed with peace. It is a place of freedom. A place of belonging. A place of love. I love church ⛪️ by @natalieglarson

Diamond lake. Our cabin almost directly in front of Matt’s gaze on the opposite shore!

Morning 🌞 on Mt. Bailey

Certain death with loss of focus was a little unnerving

I loved this part. Thrilling

Where’s Matt

3 points of contact 👌🏻

The geological landscape was captivating

Matt’s pace = more than 3mph. I have VERY short legs and had to jog to keep up 🤣

Back to the cabin by 12, looking at the peak we stood on a mere 3 hours earlier was 🤯

Reading, coffee-ing, napping the remainder of the day.

grad school: year 1 ✔️

mostly practice rooms with end pin holes in the floor, packing/unpacking, eating cold soup in my van for lunch, driving, and homework-ing…

In reality, I learned more about music and cello-ing in one year than I even knew was humanly possible. My kids are troopers and Matt is the scaffolding behind it all. Thankful for every moment with my wonderful teachers (@hamiltoncheifetz and @tomascotik !) and new friends. What a wild time 🎵 by @natalieglarson
