Friends!! Hello! It's been so long since I've shared a picture of me around here! I much prefer being behind the camera, but I also know how lovely it is to meet the maker & creator behind these little squares! So here I am at a recent sewing circle gathering & photo shoot.

A few little things to share if you're new around here (and welcome!!)

I'm a mum of 3 children (13, 11, 5) and totally in love with creating beauty with my hands.... hand stitching is probably my greatest love, but making delicious food, taking photos and tending my garden also fills me with joy.

✨ Everything I share here is to inspire you to connect to your truest most expressed self.

💛 To tend to your creative heart just like you would a newborn.

🌼 To bump up your needs & self care on your "to-do" list.

🌙 To believe in yourself and the dreams that swirl within you.

Creativity is our life force energy and can be nurtured in so many ways. I teach hand sewing, Waldorf doll making & weaving magic into childhood - because these are the things that have kept me nourished & filled up through the demands of motherhood.

Beyond my love of creativity, I believe that the most powerful thing you can do at this point in time, as the world continues to change, is to get to know yourself.

Human Design, Astrology & Gene Keys are my go-tos.

(...if you're just starting on this journey - I highly recommend getting to know your Strategy & Authority in Human Design and starting to experiment with that)

Thanks so much for following along here. I started writing my first blog in 2010 "the little gnomes home" and appreciate every one of you who have contributed to the conversation and journey over the years. 💜

Let’s make sweet little strawberries for the play kitchen 🍓🪡✨ we made these in the Sewing Circle this month as part of our Breakfast for Two project.

These were one of my favourite things to make my children when they were younger and loving imaginative play… so many cups of imaginary tea, strawberries and cupcakes! ✨🍓🧁🫖🪡

These little strawberries are made with simple natural materials - wool felt, wool stuffing fleece & cotton embroidery threads.

Packing away the felt food I made recently for the Sewing Circle. Love making these fun practical little projects. I remember how much all my children loved the play kitchen!

The basket on the left is our recent project - Breakfast for Two… something sweet & something savoury. The basket on the right are previous projects available in the Sewing Circle.
