We did it! Issue #5 Our Anniversary Issue is here, and we’re incredibly proud of what this team brought to life, all through the commitment to lifting up our curve industry.
Twelve months ago, two women decided to build instead of talk. Natalie Wakeling Australia’s first Curve Model and Vasiliki Bruzzano created Australia’s first and only luxury size-inclusive high fashion editorial magazine. No compromises, tokenism, or pretending.
Women in sizes 12 and above represent the majority of the Australian female population, yet have been systematically locked out of luxury fashion media. Since the inception of magazines and fashion weeks, no one in Australia has truly pushed forward with a movement that dignifies curve women. Curve Rapport didn’t fix that with words. It fixed it with a magazine
This month, we secured @marina.rinaldi first-ever partnership with an Australian media publication. We featured Sophie Dillman, Chelsea Bonner, GLP-1 conversations, our industry’s history, and designers who deserve a platform.
We moved the needle, but not enough.
we’re also celebrating something harder: showing up consistently for a community that doesn’t always show up the same way.
And yes, there’s always noise from within. From people who’ve never pitched a story, subscribed or bought a copy of the magazine or supported the work, but have plenty to say about one article or one model.
Here’s the honest part: if you’re in our curve community and you’re not supporting Curve Rapport, you’re not supporting yourself. Every designer we feature, every model we showcase and story we tell that’s infrastructure for all of us. The longer we exist the more opportunities there are for everyone.
Your criticism is welcome if you’re standing in it with us.

I have so much gratitude for all the artists, designers, photographers, models, stylists and agents that made this real.
