Every Mt. Fuji elopement is different, and this day was a perfect reminder of that.The day started with occasional rain and thick clouds, so we were almost certain we wouldn’t see Mt. Fuji at all. But since the location was beautiful regardless, we decided to continue and make the most of it.As the day went on, the clouds slowly began to lift, and just as these two shared their vows, Mt. Fuji revealed itself in the background. A quiet moment before the adventure began. 🤍One of my favorite parts of any wedding day is the getting-ready and first look portion. There is something incredibly genuine about these moments—the anticipation, the nerves, the excitement, and all the emotions before seeing your person for the first time.For this beautiful Mt. Fuji elopement in Japan, the couple spent the morning getting ready in a cozy Airbnb surrounded by nature. As the final touches came together, the reality of their Japan elopement slowly began to sink in. Moments later, they shared an intimate first look in a traditional Japanese room, creating one of the most meaningful memories of their wedding day.These candid moments often become some of the most treasured because they tell the story exactly as it felt. Life is composed of meaningful moments, and the birth of a child is perhaps the most magical of them all. Izu is a place of incredible contrasts: from wild cliffs and crashing waves to the peaceful beauty of a blooming garden. When I first saw this video, I couldn't hold back my tears — not just because of the scenery, but because of how harmoniously and sincerely the couple lived through every moment. It truly touched the depths of my soul. This project was an inspiring journey for me: I began creating the bride's look at dawn and stayed by their side until the very last rays of sunset, supporting every change of style and location. For me, this film is the best proof of how vital professional support is throughout the entire day. It allows the couple to forget the details and simply feel each other, living out their true emotions. A huge thank you to the entire team — the planners, photographers, and videographers.
