7am. Rice fields. Bali.

After more than 500 weddings, we thought we had seen almost everything.

We were wrong.

Every once in a while, a story comes along that reminds us why we fell in love with this job in the first place.

Some stories stay with you long after you’ve packed your cameras.

This is one of them.

We’re still looking for the right way to tell this story.

We want to do it justice. 💙

📍 Bali

Look closely.

The newlyweds are somewhere in this frame.

Can you find them?

Part 2/2 — When it stops being a photoshoot and becomes a real day.
After the ceremony, everything opens up: movement, laughter, hugs, and those little in-between moments that only happen when everyone forgets the camera.

That’s exactly how we work — quietly present, moving freely, never interrupting the flow.
Fresh, honest, fun… and still beautifully crafted.

Pick one: portraits with calm energy or party chaos? by @natanphoto

Part 1/2 — This is what trust looks like. 🤍

Not the kind you ask for.
The kind that’s just... there.

When a couple lets you in completely —
into the chaos, the laughter, the in-between moments —
you stop directing and start witnessing.

Iris getting ready with her people around her.
Pierre-Loup and his contagious joy down the hall.
Nobody performing. Nobody waiting to be told
where to stand or where to look.

Just a day unfolding exactly as it should.

That’s the only way we know how to work.

📍 Barcelona — Part 2 this week 👀

which one are you?

PART 2 — when everything opens up ✨

By this point, the story is already breathing on its own.

The emotions are bigger.
The movement is faster.
People have forgotten the camera.
And that is when the most meaningful images begin to appear even more naturally.

Nothing needs to be pushed.
Nothing needs to be invented.

This is the beauty of photographing a wedding this way:
you are not asking the day to become something else.
You are letting it be what it truly was — and giving it a visual language that feels timeless.

For me, that is where the strongest images live.

Not in the pose,
but in the in-between.
Not in control,
but in connection.
Not in perfection,
but in truth.

And still, truth can be elegant.
Emotion can be refined.
A real moment can be beautifully composed without ever losing its soul.

That is the kind of work I want my couples to remember me for.

Images that feel cinematic,
but never staged.
Images that feel elevated,
but never disconnected from real life.

Because in the end, the most unique photographs are always the ones that were never forced.

This is Part 2.

PART 1 — where the story begins 🤍

This wedding says so much about the way I see photography.

Not because of a big setup.
Not because of forced direction.
Not because of perfect poses.

But because there is not a single image here that feels manufactured.

Everything is real.
A gesture.
A glance.
A breath.
A hand searching for another hand.
The kind of moment that exists for a second… and never in the same way again.

That is always what I am chasing.

A documentary approach, yes — but never careless.
Honest, but still deeply intentional.
Natural, while always paying attention to composition, light, rhythm and beauty.

Because to me, wedding photography is not about staging a story.
It is about recognising it while it is happening.

And when a couple gives you that trust, something beautiful happens:
the day stays true to itself, and the photographs become impossible to repeat.

No performance.
No interruption.
Just life, emotion and aesthetics moving together.

Mallorca, the soft light, the energy of the day…
and two people fully present inside their own story.

This is Part 1.

.
#tellingthestoryalways by @natanphoto

Paula & Javi — Parte 1/3 🥹💥

.

Part 3/4 — Portraits, but keep them real.
No stiff posing — just walking, breathing, letting the light do its thing, and capturing the connection exactly as it is.

If you want wedding photos that feel like you, this is the chapter.
➡️ Part 4/4 is the party + the ending that feels like a beginning.
