My entry for the Golden Coil 2026 Limited Edition Design Contest 🌸

Painted florals in pinks, blues and every shade of green, the kind of cover I’d actually want to open every morning. A little bit of a garden for your desk.

Fingers crossed this one makes it onto a real planner 🤞✨

It's funny what people notice when they read something you've written.

Sometimes it's the story. Sometimes it's a sentence. And sometimes, it's the care that went into making the whole thing.

@sanchari.art, I've admired your way with words and your creative eye for as long as I've known you. So having you read something I've written, and knowing that you noticed both the words and the illustrations, means a little more than I can explain.

Thank you for reading it with so much thought and heart. And for seeing the little things that @natasha.aguiar and I hoped wouldn't go unnoticed. ❤️

Before there was a book, there were these.

Pages and pages of Natasha's beautiful illustrations, each one giving a little more life to the Girl, the Bear and the world I'd imagined.

I remember seeing these and thinking how wonderful it was that someone else could see the characters I'd spent so much time with in my head.

A little peek at the art behind The Girl and the Bear. 🐻🎨
