POSTS STORIES REELS

She’s got a showreel y’all… by @natasha__bird

Always available to discuss the power and influence of female audiences. An early slot on @bbcnews to look at the intersection between #fashion and #Formula1 (particularly in light of the @lvmh partnership) and how women’s growing involvement has made for a marketing goldmine.

Thanks @s.bundock for fab questions. Worth the crack of dawn ⏰

🏎️What do you love about this new era of #F1?🏎️ by @natasha__bird

@gemmachan’s new film is not for the faint of heart, but that’s what makes it. Unwise to wade in without a trigger warning, like I did, and oscillate between wincing and weeping for the length of it. But if you can, it’s so worth steeling yourself appropriately and watching.

It is an unflinching, nuanced examination of trauma, womanhood, and the impossible labour of shielding children (especially girls) from the cruelties of the adult world. Told through the sharp and sensitive lens of writer/director Beth de Araújo. Gemma is incredible; it is a defining role. And Mason Reeves’ turn as her daughter was so searingly realistic and reminded me so much of my own son, as to be devastating.

Of the film’s poignance, when we sat down for tea we were a few days into the unfolding Cornell 7 (57) atrocity. Both furious or insensate, as so many women were. One day I hope we won’t need to tell these stories, but until then, my god, let them be told via perspectives of the women that are so often the victims of them.

Anyway. Read the rest in the feature. Gemma is sublime. Plus we did swap cat pics, eat dessert and discuss the right amount of marmite for toast.

One of the most intense, important, solidifying interviews of my career. In the first instance, a film that had me weeping for two hours straight - and then to sit and pore over it with @gemmachan who is incredible and witnessed me weep in public _again_
And then to cheer ourselves up with kittens and crumble. A rollercoaster.

I’ve linked to the interview in my stories.

The best day, well spent. ‘Living Thoughtfully’ - an initiative by @sheselectriclive and @volvocaruk, for smart discussion, creative ideas and lots of laughter among lovely women. #livingthoughtfully #ex60 by @natasha__bird

Can we take a moment for our incredible speakers?! 🫶

What a line-up. What a couple of days!

One of the things we love most about She’s Electric is the honesty. We love celebrating brilliant women and all they’re doing, but we also love making space for the real conversations. The good bits, the challenges and everything in between.

And our speakers brought exactly that. So many brilliant perspectives, personal stories, honest moments and plenty of laughs along the way.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us on the panels at @sheselectriclive x @volvocaruk at @daylesfordfarm. You gave us so much to think about, lots to take away and made these two days pretty special ⚡️

On Friday I had the pleasure of being part of ‘Living Thoughtfully’ - a @volvocaruk x @sheselectriclive initiative bringing together pioneering brands, amazing speakers, creative ideas about sustainability and living better, plus a whole heap of brilliant, like-minded women.

Loved being part of this and playing host for the day. S/o @nicolemelilloshaw__vcuk @itsbexday

Big week. PORTER relaunch. Cindy cover. NYFW party. And the NTAs! Thank you @hbpr_agency @omoda_uk for introducing me to Gary Barlow wine on a Tuesday night. by @natasha__bird

Some recent pieces for @portermagazine - not just resident cover profiler! by @natasha__bird

Spring rolls by @natasha__bird

My second time interviewing Penélope Cruz, and my second time thinking she might just be the perfect woman.

Fierce about her kids. And women’s rights. Candid and vulnerable about the death of her father. Funny… see “ballsacks” for details.
