Words cannot describe how proud, nervous, and excited I am to bring @themarketinggroupe to life ❤️At the start of my marketing career, I had more questions than answers and no real network within my career path to lean on. The marketing world can feel like a whirlwind, especially when you don’t have the right people around you to guide you through it. One title. About six different jobs happening at once. 😅As a woman in SPAM—Social Media, PR, Advertising, and Marketing—I used @chatgpt Work to turn six months of fragmented performance data into a clear strategy and leadership-ready presentation.I gave it a real question from my day job: What actually drove pipeline in H1—and where should we invest next?I shared context from HubSpot, spreadsheets, campaign reports, event recaps, and my own notes. 15 events. Nearly 2 years of The Marketing Groupe💜This week, we hosted our very first Marketing Tastemakers Salon, and I think it’s going to be a format that’s here to stay🤭We brought together 15 NYC marketers at the beautiful @mavie_newyork in the West Village for an evening of meaningful conversations, new connections, and sharing what’s actually happening in marketing right now.One of my favorite additions was our Marketing Tastemakers Board. Throughout the night, everyone shared their favorite marketing tools, biggest career wins, best career advice, and the trends they’re paying attention to📝A few things the room agreed on:✨ @canva was the favorite marketing tool by far.✨ Relationships are one of the most valuable skills you can build in your career.✨ So many people had incredible career wins to celebrate this year (including lots of promotions!).✨ Experiential marketing, sports marketing, and the shift toward community-first influencer marketing were some of the biggest trends people are watching.✨ The advice that kept coming up: advocate for yourself.Seeing everyone’s answers side by side was such a reminder that the best part of this community isn’t just meeting new people—it’s learning from each other.A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and to @mavie_newyork for hosting us in such a beautiful space. Between the boutique, the courtyard, and the intimate atmosphere, it was the perfect setting for this new salon format... so I have a feeling we’ll be back. 🇫🇷Thank you to everyone who’s been part of these first 15 events.
