The first trimester was really hard for me. I thought it was gonna be about glowing skin, cute bumps and happy moments. But for me it was quite a brutal experience 🤢🥴

Actually, one of the hardest parts was feeling like I had to keep it to myself. There’s this myth that you shouldn’t tell people you’re pregnant in the first trimester, but for me, staying silent only made me feel lonely and isolated. Especially when that was the moment I felt the worst physically and emotionally. So I ended up telling my family and closest friends as soon as I tested positive 🤰🏻🤭

I hope by sharing this, other mamas can feel seen and understood because people don’t always talk about the hard part of pregnancy. It's okay not to be okay. Let’s be gentle with ourselves, because growing a tiny human is not easy 🤍

I’m still taking it one day at a time, reminding myself that every hard day is one day closer to meeting my baby 🥺🫶🏻
