Fall colours are officially peaking at Mount Rainier! So a few days ago we road tripped down to Washington to hike along the skyline loop trail. We started hiking just after sunrise and went counter clockwise on the trail to find these colours🍂🍁

a few days ago we drove down to Washington and spent the night at a fire lookout in the north cascades🪻
This little family of mountain goats kept us company the entire time, and even had a baby goat that couldn’t be more than a few days old🐐

Hiking up to Park Butte Lookout near Mount Baker for sunset 🌅

Last week we drove out to the North Cascades to hike to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever watched the sunset from. We sipped coffee, read a book, and Carlo even found an old guitar to play in the lookout ⛰️

This was easily my favourite stop on our Oregon Coast road trip. If you’re driving along the Samual H Boardman corridor, be sure to stop here and take a little walk through the forest that leads right to the ocean🌿🌊🐋

I’ve just spent the last 5 days road tripping along the Oregon coast, knitting, reading, drinking good coffee, and taking in the ocean views🐚🌊 Here were some of my favourite stops along the way:

🌊 Driving down the Samuel H. Boardman corridor (particularly around Meyers Beach)
