LINGER ✴︎ SPECIAL EDITION

The tension and loss of control remain present, allowing something else to emerge through the act of staying.

From idea to object to color.

Linger found a voice of her own. As the work evolved, green emerged as part of my own process. Vivid, saturated, almost lit from within, carrying a sense of aliveness and energy moving outward.

The green holds associations of growth and renewal, the heart, openness and connection. Here, it became part of something more personal, a truth finding its way into the light.

THE NEED TO GO BACK.

On the process behind Linger, currently on view as part of הקולפן Vol. 2 at The Art Gallery
by Erez Zielinski Rozen.

Bringing Linger into the exhibition asked me to return to something I had already moved through.
But within a held process, going back can also become a form of remembering.

There are moments that remind you why you create.

Seeing people from so many different chapters of my life standing together in one room was something I'll carry with me for a long time. Thank you to everyone who came, who took the time to look, to feel, to ask, to stay, and to share your own stories with me. Your presence meant more than I can put into words.

Thank you to the wonderful artists I had the privilege of exhibiting alongside, to curator Korin Avraham for her vision and sensitive curation of ** הקולפן VOL 2 ** and to The Art Gallery by Erez Zielinski Rozen for opening its doors to all of us and to my muse @noaaabar for her trust, generosity, and presence throughout this journey.

 After a deeply moving opening evening, the exhibition is now officially open. 
Linger ✴︎ carries a voice of its own - a voice that has been waiting a long time to be heard.
After many years, I'm deeply grateful to finally share this work, and with it, a part of my own voice.
