Journaling has gotten me through some wonderful and tough times in my life. I started Journaling as young as 10 years old. (I called it my diary.) What I did love about writing in my diary at 10 years old I could write all the things I couldn't feel out loud. I still journal today. One of the topics that is dear to my heart is Depression. I created a Depression Journal with Affirmations. Hope Journaling helps you like it helps me.

Another girl on the IRT. I started a new chapter in my life. I’m in NYCF program and getting my Masters in Special Education with a concentration in Autism. Teaching was not on my list of careers I expected to pursue. But God has other plans for me and I’m listening. 3 trains and a 30 minute walk. I can take the bus but I rather decompress before and after the Teaching Academy. This journey is testing me. I love my students I’ve been working with they didn’t ask to be born “different” but they humble me as a human . They are themselves unapologetic. My patience is truly being tested by the Teacher adults. (Teaching Academy) I keep in mind my goal and why I’m doing this for my girls and my community. I thank God for my support team and my daughters who say “Mommy you got this”. Stay tuned. by @natconversations

Under the Trees Party was a horrible experience for me. In 2021 it was horrible and I gave them grace and went back year after year. I have been attending this party for many many years. This year for sure is my last. We purchased a $3200 cabana to have stand on this long line at 4pm. The doors opened at 3:32 exactly because my cousin was on the line for 1 hour. When we got to front of the line the security was only letting men in leaving all the women sweating. You would think because I was with my husband they would let us in together No. That’s when I started to get angry. I then asked where do you get the information for the cabana nobody answered. I finally get upstairs to my cabana and the security told me I had to have a band. I curse them out (2 security) in front of my cabana because the bands were already in the cabana which I didn’t know. Then the sun was beaming directly in the cabana no umbrella no shade. I told my cousin to ask for an umbrella. A worker of UTT told her we don’t have an umbrella package. Do you see any umbrella packages on the cabana packages No. So then I went to talk to the worker she told me the same thing the back and forth I had to go through for an umbrella was ridiculous. Finally we got an umbrella and cold wash clothes. Then at 7pm my brother had to wait to get in because they weren’t letting anyone in or out. Also 7pm there was no ice, water, beer or champagne. We bought 3 extra bottles of champagne. We wanted 4 bottles but they ran out. The 3rd bottle was hot still sold for $200. My husband gave the bottle server a $100 tip. He should have been our server because he had to go find her and had to go inside to pay. SMH. If you think this was bad the railing on our cabana was not secure and me and my cousin slip and fell Thank God not over the cabana but on the floor of the cabana. My husband and another man had to fix it. I invited so many of my friends and family to come to this party. I believe in integrity and this promotion has none. One of the security said to me they are worst promoters he worked for he just needed the extra money. My review is not to stop people from going to the party this is my experience #dobetter by @natconversations
