7 years ago, I sat at the monocle cafe on chiltern street and decided I would make London my home. At the same very moment, I quietly dreamed about one day being in monocle magazine. Fast forward to that same day exactly 7 years later, here we are.

It’s not often we come across moments like this, the quiet dreams that come to fruition with a touch of serendipitous timing.

And it’s a perfect time to reflect on all the incredible people that have been part of this ride: the team, the customers, the ambassadors and the friends and family that keep you sane along the way. For the trust and belief in the vision to do something that matters, I couldn’t do it without you. The future of our skin is quite literally alive and well (with @fjor.life that is) 🦠

Lately

Had the honour of celebrating not only the launch of @idformulas in the UK but also their incredible partnership with @whoop at the @thechanceryrosewood. The future looks bright with that it means to age well and live optimally.

Got to try a 1 of 1 set at @miumiu that changed my brain chemistry

Arriving at the glorious playground @thegleneagleshotel

Spent an afternoon with @sheselectriclive @volvocaruk in conversation with @themodems at @daylesfordfarm to discuss the impacts of AI on how we work.

From building your ideal tech stack or as @ai.with.lauren put it your ‘tech handbag’ which I loved, how inspiring solutions can be built by @jadasezer for mothers to gain back brain space and be present and from the fjör perspective of how it’s helped to shift the balance from time spent on report/analytics work to gaining more time to execute on real ideas. Not to mention our esteemed host and moderator @nataliesalmon, for guiding the conversation and sharing her insights along the way of building the modems.

A brain nourishing conversation and safe to say we can all collectively say that @wisprflow is in our handbag.

@londongastroboy collaborated with @beaverbrooktownhouse for a decadent night of wagyu donburi bowls with caviar and chirashi bowls that will live rent free in my head forever 💗

The cutest VIP joined us for lunch and Isaac was loving every minute of it

Celebrated the mid autumn festival the right way

It’s all very town and countrymag and I genuinely love it, wondering again is this a sign for us to move more countryside?!?

Presented about a topic I’m deeply passionate about: the skin microbiome to a room of hundreds of industry leaders and specialists. The very topic that helped me understand my skin when I felt like there had been no answers.

This was one of the more heart rate elevating experiences that I had in September. It’s something I feel incredibly grateful and proud to be able to do. This is one of the prouder moments of my career.

Still equally as surprising how well received it is, especially when you spend so much time preparing and hoping that there is real value in what you share.

A @thegleneagleshotel love letter 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The pinnacle of luxury, activities and attention to detail. You know a hotel is something special when the team behind genuinely love their job.

Plus there is no possibility of ever getting bored here. Ever. If I can remember correctly there are 50+ activities you can choose from, from falconry, golf (on 3 championship iconic golf courses which I must come back to play on), canoeing, woodland adventure, horse riding, spa).

There is literally something for everyone.

There was even an adventure espresso martini bar post dinner, everything so perfectly thought through 🥺

Not to mention a traveling cafe after a gorgeous walk through the valley of the property

And of course on the go martinis as we were chauffeured from the American bar to the shooting lodge, as you do (and navigate a few quick turns and one or two speed bumps)

@landrover @landroverdiscovery convoys seem to be a growing theme on my Instagram and I really am not upset at this prospect

Probably discussing if it’s time to leave the city for country life, but all knowing we’ll probably not for a little while longer

What a magical place, truly a bucket list place ticked off and one I’ll dream of coming back again for more activities 😈

There is nothing like hotel breakfast delivered to the room, sitting in a robe

A gorgeous setting for dinner in gorgeous company

Not a single complaint can be made

Everything sourced with the highest quality. Breathing and eating so good 🥺

Can’t believe I flew directly after speaking at the beauty trends and innovations conference, presenting all things microbiome and this is where I ended up

Wholesome on every level 💗

And it will stay there until we are back again

Incredibly proud to be able to talk about fjör in a way that highlights the possibilities that smaller brands have to connect on a deeper level with their customers.
