2025 was a tough year… But we learned some valuable lessons.

First, nature and creativity are mandatory. It’s easy to get lost in the rhythm of work and routine. Traveling, or even going to the local park, were some of the things that kept me going. Breathing fresh air, seeing the trees and ancient mountains. Puts into perspective why we’re really here. Next, my creativity cannot be something that is forced. Something that becomes content or business. My art needs to be created for its own sake- for the sake of my soul.

Boundaries aren’t something to wash away anymore. They are necessary and I have them for a reason. But when lines are crossed and nothing works out, hope is one of the few tools we have. 2025 was a year of upset and incident, but I understand why now.

Thanks to 2025 for paving the way forward.

Yosemite Day 1. Cabin secured.

Last time we went to Joshua Tree so naturally we have to switch it up and go somewhere else. This cabin was in Mariposa, CA. Perfect distance from Yosemite and also had a hot tub so that’s huge news. Tomorrow, full day in Yosemite.
