Who am I that God would step down from his throne to save me? I’ve read time after time that he cares for us.. that he loves us. I was raised by a family to live for him, I’ve heard the old bible stories, I was told to follow the path that Jesus lived so that we could be his example of love to this tarnished world. I wore the Christian label but can I share my candor with the world?? I wasn’t. I wasn’t the man God called me to be. I was a sinner I fell short, I was a HYPOCRITE living in sin but claiming the banner of Christ, I walked a life of sin, lust, and back sliding, I didn’t reflect Jesus how I should have, yet he saw fit to redeem me, to restore my soul, and to restore my MIND. I serve.. and WE all can serve a god that loves us not for who we are in the moment, but who we WILL be. Im a testament that we just have to trust his plan. His way will ALWAYS be better than our own. I can’t even begin to break down the miracles I’ve seen these past couple of months. Just because he saw me as worth it. Doctors said I was suppose to be on a breathing machine, that I shouldn’t be here today. It’s only GOD! Someone said that the people of Israel were so broken that they didn’t even feel that they were worthy of grace, but our great Jehovah spoke life. He decieded they were indeed fit to receive mercy. I’m so grateful that the grace we recieve is scandalous, even when we don’t deserve it. We still recieve it.
