Holy shit.
One whole year done, and three more to go. Started the year strong by finding a group of hooligans to commit some tomfoolery with. BRMM was amazing, and I can’t wait to run it back. I had a few ups and downs, but in the end, I made the academic comeback (see previous post where I said I was him). I truly can’t put into words just how much this year alone has meant to me. Thank you all for putting up with my bull shit this year, and for the bull shit that is to come as well. taken in Illinois State University by @nathan.klaas

Happy Barbershop Quartet day!
Wouldn’t be a quartet without these three (and a few others)

Second semester is half way done, and the academic lock in came later than expected. But don’t worry, I’m him. taken in Tuba City by @nathan.klaas

I’ve accidentally posted three months in a row with a 1 day difference.
Anyway, almost done with the first semester of college. Dressed up, went to a zoo, and saw the northern lights. taken in Illinois State University by @nathan.klaas

What the hell even is college?
I literally made a 12 hour round trip drive to KC to see the Madrigals. I had my first collegiate band concert. We lit a labubu on fire. We went to Denny’s at 3:00 a.m. before ISMBC, and afterwards made a Sousamid. Met a cow (extended family). taken in Illinois State University by @nathan.klaas

It’s absolutely crazy that it’s been a month already. Met some people. (Just a few) And made some new friends. We’ve already had so much fun, but I know that there is so much more to come.

Also, 28 sousaphones strong 💪 taken in Cook Hall at Illinois State University by @nathan.klaas

Well damn, that’s summer pretty much over. Got to spend time with my favorite people and got to learn a whole lot more about myself than school could ever teach me. Off to ISU to learn how to be broke the rest of my life. To all of you who have been with me this far, I love y’all and can’t wait to see what the future holds for y’all. taken in Highland, Illinois by @nathan.klaas
